Just a note, No Eson of Mine is the first mission so this is available very early on.

This is a fairly simply achievement to obtain after you've unlocked both Baby Groot and normal Groot following the first two or three missions.
When you're returned to the Manhattan streets, hold down and it'll bring up your character selection screen. Scroll to Groot and select him. Then switch to another player and hold down again. Go back to Groot on the character selection screen and hit 
to change him to Baby Groot.
Once you're back to street view, the achievement unlocks about three seconds later as you'll have both Baby Groot and normal Groot in your three-person party.

You'll unlock both of these Groots after Level 1. After Level 2, you'll be in your first HUB world area where you can switch to any character you have unlocked. Just have both Groots in the party at the same time and the trophy will pop.

Both Groot and Groot (Small) are unlocked and available after you complete Level 1, ‘No Eson of Mine’.
After completing Level 2 you will return to Manhattan. After Spider-man and Spider-Gwen chase down Vulture and Green Goblin 2099, the cinematic for the next level will be shown. After you’ve selected your team and are outside the mansion, hold
to bring up the character grid, navigate to Groot and press 
to select him. Switch to another character, hold again, navigate to Groot again and press 
to cycle to Groot (Small). Select this character, and when you return to the game, the achievement will unlock a few seconds later.
