I had an issue with this level toward the end. I dont know how ive missed this in the countless lego games i've played, but holding 
isn't the only way to fire a laser. When flying, you can hold 
which also fires the laser.

Story related, can't be missed.
In Story Mode, complete the level "Helicarrier Havoc" then the trophy will pop on the score screen.
