How to unlock the Quick as a Cat achievement in LEGO Marvels Avengers - Definitive Guide

Mine isn't really a guide, more of a "pfft I'm not doing that."
I started the race at the south end of Central Park, flying as Korvac of course. When I got to the end I remembered to park the SkyCycle there.

Flew the race again. Hopped on the bike before the last hoop ( which was on some stairs ) and the achievement unlocked.
No time for playing things properly I say.

Worked like a charm, you have the best solution

Gold. Pure gold! Did it on Barton's Farm too as the other solution suggested. Should have looked on TA before attempting...what a shitty vehicle!

Brilliant guide. I did this in South Africa. Flew the race as Iron Man and hopped on the cycle just before the last hoop - had to drive for maybe 2 seconds in it and it popped right away.

This is really easy to set up in the South Africa hub. No random traffic, no random people, just a basic race and an easily identified end where you can set the bike by.

I got this in Barton's Farm. The handling terrible so I did a lot of crashing and backing up, which is why Barton's Farm is perfect for the race, since the check points are so close together.

NOTE: If you'd like, you can also do a flying race. To make it fly, hold cn_LB. I did a land race because it's easier than flying with a vehicle.

Your solution plus the MADCV solution perfectly. I went to Barton's Farm, called up the bike, and positioned it near the finish. I then swapped to Quicksilver and ran the race as him, jumping on the bike for the final ring. Unlocked!

How long until I'm able to access this? I don't understand what the HUB is and I need this for my letter Q achievement. Do I need to finish the story first?

@Octobot Super If you can hit the back button and go to space, you can go to Barton's Farm

I think I understand now. I don't have that stage available yet, so I'm guessing I have to get there in story mode and unlock free play. It seems like I might also have to purchase the vehicle as well?

I don't remember if you have to purchase the vehicle or not. However, it is a DLC achievement. It can also fly so you may be able to complete a flying race as well.

The Black Panther Skycycle is included with the ‘Classic Black Panther’ level. In the Manhattan hub, there is both a land race and a red platform sitting on a dock along the eastern edge of the city just north of the Queensboro Bridge (almost directly below the Hellicarrier). Step on the platform and activate it. The Skycycle is along the bottom row. Select it to spawn and press to enter the vehicle.

Now move over to the starting line and press . The Skycycle has very sluggish controls, so it’s best to anticipate where you have to go. The race will take you north through an underpass into oncoming traffic through Yorkville where you emerge in East Harlem. Take a left around a corner and at the next corner turn left again. The finish line is at the next intersection.

Of course, feel free to select any race in Manhattan that you find easy. Note that the Skycycle is also available from blue platforms, so if you find another race in another hub easier, go for it. Also, if you know where the land race ends, you can place the Skycycle at the last marker then use a speed runner like Quicksilver to run through the race, jump on the vehicle at the end and finish the race on the Skycycle. (thanks Darauk).

Note: To make the Skycycle fly, hold , but the flying controls are worse than the ground controls. (thanks MathGuy42).

The Black Panther Skycycle can only be spawned using a red vehicle spawn point (the kind that only spawns flying vehicles and boats) and to make it fly, see this quote from Anstevens:

The Skycycle can fly but to make it happen, you need to hold in until it starts gliding then hold again to make it land.

Either do one of the flying races on the SHIELD helicarrier, or look for a red vehicle spawn point in the Manhattan hub (try near the water) then drive it to one of the ground-based races. This is what I did, as the game never explains how to make the Skycycle fly. Practice driving the Skycycle before you start as the controls for it are a little iffy. You don't need to get the best time/win the race, you just need to finish it before the timer runs out.
