How to unlock the What do you want most? achievement in LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game - Definitive Guide

8/8 Items need to be found for this achievement to work.

In the main Port/Hub area, there are easy items to get. You can also find one the red hats you need doing this. You can find 2 items in the left gate port area, 5 items on the beach in the central area, (swim towards the screen you have to dig for the items on the using the compass again will show you where the shovel is) and 1 item (Red Hat) in the right gate port area. More detailed guide:

- Use the compass outside the inns on the left side of the hub, to find a valve like lever.
- On the beach opposite the level boards (swim towards the screen middle hub area), during the day, use the compass to find a banana.
- As with the banana, on the beach use the compass to look for a carrot.
- Also on the beach, you can use the compass to find a cursed coin.
- Still on the beach, use the compass to find some buried explosives.
- Use the compass outside the lighthouse to find a red hat. (Right side of port hub)
- Use the compass outside the taverns to find a lever.
- Also outside the taverns (left side of the hub), you can use the compass to find a gun.

Just use Jack's compass and highlight every item you can see. To use Jack's compass hold down (B) and using analoge stick towards the item you are seeking. The blue foot prints will guide you on where to go.

Flipy Fliperson, that doesn’t work for me. It doesn’t let me get the red hat one because I already got it.

The hub area worked for me, even though I had already grabbed the red hat earlier. Just use the compass to get to the red hat spot, and it should be fine.

I'm not sure every free play I did with the compass in one go it never gave me the achievement I have all the levels 8/8 compass too. This was the only place that gave me the achievement and it was simple.. try the solution below.

I've bought all the red hats already, am I unable to do this method now? I've pretty much had it with this achievement, done Port Royal about 5 times and the next levels 2-3 each too, it's just not popping.

Did you do everything in the video? You gotta use Jack's compass for everything just follow the video exactly and you'll get the achievement for sure, there's probably one thing your not doing right or missing.. Or maybe try doing the achievement when you have beaten all the levels.

What if you found an item or two on the first playthrough and then went back on free play to try it again? You can still use the compass to find the two items you found the first go around and then the remaining six but I'm not getting the achievement.

Can you tell me where those sparrow compass items are found or a link to a vid, can I get them in the story or somewhere else I need like 3 or 4, im talking about the items for the hub level.

The easiest way to get this achievement is in the hub I haven't really found a different level to test it out. Just follow the video it shows you step by step where to go..

So if I picked the red hat up in the Port as someone other than Jack and have already played the game through completely once on Story Mode I cannot get this achievement?

@Mushroom3 - Not sure never had this problem you can try the other soultions if you have the red hat or try going for other stuff in the main Port Hub area. Or try looking at these comments:

Sorry dont have much on that because I haven't played the game in ages. Also never saw any other soultion that helped so not sure what to do with that. I always go to forums or look at videos or comments. Good Luck.

Film 1, chapter 4, I think. It's called smugglers den. You can get all 8 compass items in story mode, just remember to use jack's compass, and use jack to pick up or interact with the item, really not that hard.

For this, you MUST:
-Use the compass to find the objects. If you find or pick up the object because it was on your way without using the compass, it will NOT count.
-Use JACK to pick the object once it is detected by the compass. if you use another character to pick it up, it will NOT count.

The main reason why many people got problems with this achievement is because the compass will show all the objects retrieved, but if you do not do it right, it will NOT pop up.

I thought I would add this video to here for people that are having problems with this cheevo(like me), its made by those rooster teeth guys so I DONT TAKE CREDIT FOR IT enjoy!
