How to unlock the Local Legend achievement in LEGO Rock Band - Definitive Guide

You get fans in the Tour mode whenever you complete a gig. Scoring higher and playing on higher difficulties will net you more fans. You tend to get more fans per gig as you progress into later points in the game.

You should reach 100 fans almost immediately.

Just wanted to add, since I didn't think it warranted its own solution, that this achievement as well as the 1,000,000 fans achievement are Viral. Since the game has no online multiplayer, if you you play in someone elses career and they have already past 100 or 1,000,000 fans, as soon as you complete a song it will give you the achievement (or both if they are past 1,000,000 fans), even if its the first song that you are personally playing.

This is an achievement that you will unlock as you progress through the Tour. When you complete each song you will be awarded with fans. The better you do the more fans you will recieve. Simply complete enough songs to get 100 fand and the achievement will unlock.

You will have this by your second or third song if you get 5 stars on those. On my first song, Free Fallin' by Tom Petty, I scored got 5 stars and ended up getting 70 fans. The next song I got 70 fans again. I am not sure if it is the same for everyone else, but right now it looks like an average of 70 in the Van section. After that it goes up fast.
