How to unlock the Greatest Pilot I've Ever Met achievement in LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens - Definitive Guide

During the first part of the mission there is a speeder chase. During the chase there will be a screen wipe and Poe will tell Naka Iit that there are traps on the course. Avoid all the traps in the video below and the achievement will unlock at the end of the speeder chase (not during). There are sand traps after this section too, but they are not from the Strus Clan and do not matter.

Tips:
You can avoid all traps by staying over to the left. Thanks, tlnsr
You can enter the area where the traps begin, and before hitting one, quit the game. Thanks, Apostle92627

This won't unlock for me. I have tried in Story and Free Play. It's not even a hard achievement as you can just hold the stick left. I'm wondering if it's just glitchy for me or if it's a red brick combination issue.

I got it just by entering the area with the traps and quitting. I quit because I kept trying (and failing) to get the first minikit. I eventually got it after about ten tries. >_>

Yeah, not unlocking for me. I've even dodged all of the sand traps as well, but still no luck.

OK, after about a dozen attempts, I exited to the Xbox One dashboard and quit the game. Loaded it up, went through the speeder chase, missed all traps, and achievement unlocked in the next area.

Had a problem with this cheevo. I quited to dash then I did the same run like here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5fyxSVcmx0&feature....be (tlnsr posted movie). Worked!

Wouldn't pop until I quit game and reloaded (then use stay left method). I think it remembers that I'd hit the gates in story mode, until I quit it stayed that way.

I think if you hit a trap once, you have to quit the game to the dashboard and restart the game. I did this then loaded the level (freeplay), I waited for the section with the traps, then I saved and quit. And boom it unlocked.

Yep, quit the program to return to the dashboard. Restarted the program to boot from beginning and it popped after the first try.

If you hit a trap at any point you have to dashboard and quit and try it again. Definitely tedious and frustrating. This game is very glitchy.

I thought i hit a trap and exited the level to restart it, and the achievement popped. i wasnt even halfway through the section.

Restart game from Dash > Load up the mission > As soon as the second part of the speeder chase starts Save & Quit > Achievement popped!
