How to unlock the I Can Fly Anything achievement in LEGO STAR WARS: The Force Awakens - Definitive Guide

There are 18 base game chapters (12 main story + 6 new adventures) with 10 minikits each, for a total of 180 minikits. You need to finish all missions on Story first, then mop up in Free Play so you can use the extra characters unlocked from Story.

The TA walkthrough is already a great resource for finding them all, so here it is. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Walkthrough

If you'd rather use videos for help, here you go, courtesy of Camzillasmom on YouTube. Sorry it's the PS version, but I like her voice and she's funny sometimes. I made links instead of making this page load 18 videos:

Note: The minikits are often hidden in the levels, and while you can obtain some in Story Mode, you will have to collect the majority of them in Free Play.

It is recommended that you complete all 18 story levels before attempting this since you will unlock every ability by playing them (you will have to purchase some characters, though, to have access to their abilities).

Having the ‘Collectible Detector’ Red Brick unlocked (for 500,000 studs) and turned on will help find the minikits easier.

Refer to THIS GUIDE for a text and visual minikits guide. Credit goes to HappyThumbsGaming.

There are a total of 180 Minikits in the game spread out over 18 levels. You will be able to collect a good amount of the Minikits in Story Mode but most will have to be obtained in Free Play. For the locations of all 180 Minikits please refer to the collectible guide found here: LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Minikit and Red Brick Guide

Like all LEGO games, there are minikits hidden away in both the campaign levels and the hub worlds. Some can be collected during your initial playthrough, but most will need to be collected in Free Play. I have written a campaign collectible guide and a hub collectible guide to help you find them.

The red Collectibles Detector cube will be a great help in finding minikits. If you find it and buy it for 500k, then arrows on the level will show you where they are. Then you don’t have to watch the video unless you understand how to get it.
