How to unlock the Less Than 12 Parsecs achievement in LEGO STAR WARS: The Force Awakens - Definitive Guide

If you have any negative feedback please state why, Thanks!

Note: Some do not seem to appear until you have finished those / most of those available (similar to Resistance/New Order missions);

Also: Some require specific vehicles, such as one race on D'Qar as an example, requires "Poe's Blue X-wing":

Starkiller Base has 7
Jakku has 6
D'Qar has 2
Millennium Falcon has 1
Takodana has 3

Total: 19.

Stupid question, how do I get the vehicles to appear to start the races? I haven't run into an obvious terminal like on previous games, and I can't see them on Y. Thanks :)

When in the hub worlds, hold 'Y', they're is a blue millennium falcon with a plus over it, like the character icon has, just click that and you're all set.

No problem at all. I don't often put up solutions so this is great feedback. I'm glad I could help.

If you added all the specific vehicles required it would help :) I had a devil of a time trying to figure out which little picture it wanted me to load on Maz's Planet :)

I can try to post an update tonight, my apologies, I guess I did not notice any others needed it and the race on D'Qar was my last one so it was fresh in my mind but I'll do my best to update. If you could provide me with the vehicle for Maz I'll include that in my post.

I do apologise I don't actually remember - I think I'd tried them all at one point. Possibly the rusty speeder bike?

This glitched on me also. Is there anyway to get the achievement without starting over ? Will it work if I go over all the races again?

This is not unlocking for me after completing every race. Anyone else still having issues?

I had only one left in Takodana and thought it was glitched. Went back to Da'Qar, finished all Rebels/New Order missions, got back to Takodana and it appeared. Achievement unlocked!

I'm doing the races now and not sure which vehicles to use. This was my reason to give this guide a thumbs down.

@SchizoPsycho74 thank your the heads up, it’s been four years since I played this, but I do not remember if vehicles have stats so the vehicle shouldn’t matter unless the race requires a certain vehicle like stated in the solution.

This should really have a buggy flag. Didn't unlock even though I completed all races. Even did all 19 races a second time and no luck.

There are a total of 19 races.

NOTE: Some races don't appear until others are completed. Also, some of these races require a specific vehicle to be used.

Races are in the Free Play HUB planets. They are a white icon that is a checkered flag symbol which looks like this "". You will need to be in a vehicle to accept these races. After you complete a race, it will have a checkmark next to it. HERE is a visual guide.

  • D'Qar - 2 Races
  • Jakku - 6 Races
  • Millennium Falcon - 1 Race (BB-8 Race)
  • Starkiller Base - 7 Races
  • Takodana - 3 Races

Complete all 19 and the achievement will unlock.

There are a total of 19 races scattered throughout the HUBs. You can find them on the map by looking for a checkered flag logo. Simply head to the start of the race with the corresponding vehicle or character and hit to begin. Most of the races are incredibly easy and shouldn’t give you any trouble. The races that are part of general missions or that are found during the story levels do NOT count towards this trophy. The breakdown of the races per HUB is as follows:

Millennium Falcon – 1
D’Qar - 2
Jakku – 6
Takodana – 3
Starkiller Base – 7

Upon completing the last race the trophy will unlock.

*Note* - Occasionally a race wouldn’t let me start it even though I had the right character/vehicle. I found that leaving and returning to the area, or completing another mission or race would reset it.

Microfighters are tiny versions of Star Wars ships that are unlocked when you collect minikits. They are only accessible in the hub world, and are needed for hub world races. Simply use a Microfighter in each of the four hub worlds to unlock this trophy. It does not need to be the same Microfighter, nor do you have to drive it through the entire hub; just spawning a Microfighter and driving it for a second or two will do.
