How to unlock the Unlearn What You Have Learned. achievement in LEGO STAR WARS: The Force Awakens - Definitive Guide

Please note: this is glitchy. A number of people have not popped this, even after they rebuilt the object. I tried this on 3 alt accounts. Two worked, one didn't. I don't know why the one didn't, but there is clearly a glitch there. (Read more in the comments.) I don't like steering people wrong, so if I learn more I'll update this again, but this confuses me because this was the first achievement I got in the game, and wasn't expecting it to be one.

A new mechanic is the Multi-Build. When you have the option to build something (using cn_B), move the cn_LS in a direction where you want to build your item. It will show you where the possibilities are.

For this achievement, destroy the first one you build and put it something else. This is best at the very beginning of the first level, since building on the right gives you access to a minikit, but you need to go left to advance.

One more tip: once up next to the tree that Wicket has to climb and move a pile of Legos, building to the left will give you access to your first Red Brick, the Stud Magnet (200,000 studs). Very helpful for reaching True Jedi later.

I got this literally the first time I did it. Maybe it's because of the coop?

It's bugged for me as well. Hopefully they'll look at it or it will pop eventually.

Also didn't unlock for me. Playing coop as first player, unlocked for second player, but not me. I've done the requirements at least 30 times since then. Even playing alone later and with starting a new game in slot 2 single player. It's been close to 36 hours and still hasn't popped :(

That. Is. Annoying. And so so wrong.

This literally popped for me in the first level at the beginning. Did you try the one next to the tree that you go up, the one where you can get the red brick if you go left?

This is all really surprising. I'm going to try it on an alt tag and see. This popped for me when I didn't even know it was an achievement at all.

Okay, I did it twice on two different accounts. The first popped immediately. The second didn't. I'm trying a third to see if I do something different.

I hate giving bad advice. I really do. I'll take down solutions if they don't work, but this is really work. I've had it work twice, but again, it failed once.

Mine finally popped yesterday, about 48 hours after I started the game. I was on one of the last story levels and I guess the server finally just synced or something.

I was player one in two player co-op. I didn't get it either, but player two did. I also didn't pop achievements for finishing the first level or getting true Jedi, but player two did. It did give me and player two both the achievements for the blaster fight.

Edit: This popped for me replaying it with player two signed out.

This achievement is not unlocking for me after building multiple objects. Any ideas?

This is super glitchy. Try on a new save file, since you can do it at the first scene, or keep playing and see if it pops later? I don't really have a good answer. Some people have said it has popped later randomly.

Good luck!

My co-op partner didn't get it when playing with me or on her 1st own save however started a second and got it first attempt.

Still buggy as of Dec 16, 2017. This achievement’s flags should be updated as such.

I just did it on a third account. Kinda ticks me off that neither game DVR nor the record feature records when an achievement pops, but it did. (Look at my alt Scarlet Morning, you'll see that it popped.) I did it at the very first build, the one to jump up the first cliff.

The only things I did differently that I can possibly think of are that I didn't shoot any Stormtroopers up top, I never used the cn_B super attack, and I waited a second for the blocks to gather after I destroyed the first bouncy thing (on the right, by the minikit) and after I made the second one (on the left). It popped right as I reached the top, so basically immediately.

I'll note the glitch in the solution. On that alt I made both of the ones below the cliff, and again after I climbed the tree. I'll try to post the video from the run I just did, but note that the video doesn't show the pop.

I'm still confused. Don't want to steer anyone wrong.

There is a new mechanic in the game called Multi-Build. When you have the option to build something using the cn_B, move the cn_LS in a direction where you want to build your item. Typically it is moving the stick to the right or the left, but sometimes it needs to be moved in another direction, but it will show you where the possibilities are.

For this achievement, build the item then destroy it, and rebuild it the the other available area. This is best unlocked at the very beginning of the first level, since building on the right gives you access to a minikit, but you need to go left to advance the level.

Please see the video below for a more visual explanation, i hope it helps!

This is the first achievement you will unlock in the game. It can't be missed. During the Prologue, ‘The Battle of Endor’, as soon as you land, you will engage in a fight with some Stormtroopers. After that there will be a glow object to build. Use the analog stick left or right and hold to build a trampoline to get to the next area. Next, smash it by pressing then rebuild it holding down again.

This trophy will come naturally as you are collecting Minikits and Red Bricks. If you are following the collectible guide you will unlock this trophy a few minutes into the Prologue in Story Mode. A new feature in this LEGO game is the ability to build a set of LEGO pieces into different objects. Multi-Build object will light up orange when you find them, simply hold the in a direction to build an object. Once you have built an object simply destroy it and then rebuild the object in a different direction. Once you have rebuilt the object the trophy will unlock.
