I started with A New Hope and got this in the first level at the very first combat section. Whenever you attack an enemy, it builds the combo meter. Check out the video but as long as you focus on shooting the Stormtroopers, you'll hit that 30 multiplier without much of an issue. Good luck!

A way to do this is in Episode 1 while on the “Better Call Maul” level, . Either do combos on the squads of droids that will spawn while you chase Darth Maul or towards the end when you catch up to maul, Spam 
and the combo for me went up to about 36 so it should pop instantly.

If you're high like me, you'll choose to play in order of episode 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, and 6. That way you get to the part where we find out who Vader is, and then go back to the prequels to find out how he ended up as he did before dying in 6.
Anyway I didn't know this was an achievement, but I got it at the end of the Bespin level, second to last one of episode 5. There is a part where Chewbacca is lowering the ramp at the end, and endless bad guys pour out of the building you just came from.
Just stand near the cover closest to said door, and take your time to land body shots. Enough guys keep coming out that I got a 156 hit combo before Boba Fett shows up. Simple enough.

You can earn this at any time during the story or in Free Play and will likely unlock without even trying. When you hit an enemy in quick succession, your combo meter rises. There is a thin gauge to the right of the meter that fills up as you increase your combo and decreases when you don’t. When the gauge is depleted, you lose your combo. As long as you keep building your combo, you should reach 30 or more in no time.
One way to earn this is during a lightsaber battle. Often there will be a section where you have to mash
to clash blades. Each hit causes your combo meter to increase, up to a 25 combo. Quickly strike a few more times to get your meter to 30. If you were fortunate enough to have a combo before the QTE section, you may reach 30 during the event.
When using a ranged weapon, a good level to earn this is Episode IV, Level 1, ‘Boarding Party’. Soon after you take control of your character, there will be a segment where Stormtroopers will cut through a door and storm the corridor. For every shot that hits, your combo meter increases. You can easily get a 35-40 combo here.

You'll likely earn this over the course of your platinum, but the easiest opportunity to get this will be during any of the game's many boss fights with lightsaber wielding bosses. At multiple points during these battles, you'll enter a kind of QTE where you will have to mash the 
button, quickly racking your combo multiplier up to 25. From there, continue to attack (throwing your lightsaber with 
with certain characters is an easy way to continue your multiplier) until you get it over 30. The game is very generous with keeping your multiplier going, so it should be a matter of time before you reach 30.
