How to unlock the Lord of the Prance achievement in LEGO The Hobbit - Definitive Guide

To earn this achievement, you must wear these three items at the same time.

The Dazzle Wig is found in the "Flies and Spider Level", in "The Elves of Mirkwood" section. It's inside the secret passage in the very beginning of the section. You will need the Fire Cracker Bow or Saruman to break the Mithril LEGOs blocking the passageway. Once to enter the secret area, go to the very east of the area. There will be a jacuzzi with two skeletons inside. You will need to use Bilbo's fishing ability to fish the Dazzle Wig.

For the Mithril Rhythm Stick, you will first need the Schematic for it. The Schematic can be found in the lake in Rivendell. You will need a boat to reach the area. Follow the studs to find the route that leads to the Schematic. Once to reach the pilars, you will need the Fire Cracker bow or Saruman to break the chest. To forge the weapon, you will need to head to the Blacksmith in Bree.

The Dance Boots are also located in Rivendell. You will need to activate three switches to earn this Schematic. The first two switches are on top of the ropes that only elves can reach, and the final switch is at the very right of the cave. You will need to shoot arrows to make a swinghook. To forge the weapon, you will need to head to the Blacksmith in Bree.

Also bear in mind, that you can purchase any kind of loot that is required for forging weapons from the "Dwarven Loot Dispenser", just North of Erebor (where you always spawn at when you load up a save).

Once you have all three items, equip them onto any character from the "Treasure Trove" in your wheel menu, and the trophy will unlock.

Hey Kirch, thanks for the guide, might be worth adding that that you also need to smash the tables in the area to build the fishing platform first. Thanks for the guide.

You might need to be a specific character to pop this. Each time I selected the Mithril Rhythm Stick with Bilbo nothing happened. I switched to Gandalf and he surely pulled it out and this popped.

Dazzle Wig:

  • Needed: Fire Cracker Bow or Saruman, Bilbo's Fishing Ability
  • Treasure: Found in Chapter 10, “Flies and Spiders” in the section “The Elves of Mirkwood”, you will need a Fire Cracker Bow or Saruman to break the Mithril brick. Then, enter the secret area. Inside on to your right you'll see a skeleton next to a jacuzzi. You need to use Bilbo's fishing ability to fish for the Dazzle Wig in the jacuzzi.

Mithril Rhythm Stick:

  • Location: High Fells – “Bop ’til You Drop” (The High Fells, Night)
  • Cost: 1,000,000 Studs
  • Loot Material: 7 Mithril, 30 Sapphires, 20 Fish, 10 Gold
  • Needed: Saruman
  • Design: Travel to Rivendell. This is found at the southern edge of the area. Look for a rowboat in the roaring waters, and hop in. Row the boat to the left to reach a tiny island by some waterfalls. Use Saruman to break open the Mithril chest here, revealing the design.

Mithril Dance Boots:

  • Location: By water – “Two Left Feet” (Day)
  • Cost: 85,000 Studs
  • Loot Material: 5 Mithril, 10 Rubies, 10 Leather, 10 Carrots
  • Needed: Elf
  • Design: Travel to Rivendell. To reach this, you have to head through the passage at the eastern edge of the zone (the door icon). This leads to a rope coursed area. Use an acrobat like Legolas to cross the tightropes and flip poles; pull all three levers to reveal the schematic.

When you have collected both schematics, go to the Blacksmith in Bree. You have to craft the Mithril Rhythm Stick and Dance Boots there. Equip all three items and achievement will unlock.
