How to unlock the The Unassessably Wealthy achievement in LEGO The Hobbit - Definitive Guide

I found another place that is easy to farm studs when in free roam. It consists of one purple and three blue studs in Bree.

The studs are located west of the forge and they are in the building in the small room sealed by wraith bricks (likely, there was a collectible in there that needs to be collected first). With Attract Studs on, you can get the studs without going into the room.

Hop on a horse, grab the studs, and run east out of Bree. Go up the hill to the left and jump off. Go back into Bree and get near the room to get the studs. Repeat!

There is also a set of blue and purple studs on a beam between buildings to the north-northwest of the wraith bricks. You can easily get these with Attract Studs and jumping while on the horse. This set basically doubles your stud findings per run. Makes it very quick to get this achievement (you get just under 100,000,000 studs per run if you use all the multipliers).

Lil Miss Cherry was kind enough to put a video together showing this method:

Okay! Ground breaking discovery here! (If anyone still plays this game anyways) You CAN play co-op!!! Just be sure to switch the second player off when you hit like 8-9000000000 and then finish in single player. Worked like a charm <3

Even easier than this, the building with the studs in it is right outside the blacksmith. All you have to do is go inside the blacksmith, come back out, grab the studs, go back in, etc. You don't have to leave Bree.

If you follow this guide, after the hill is re-entry to Bree and there are three purple or blue (I'm colorblind) studs above the rafter just upon rre-entering, if you are on a horse it should be eay to jump and grab these as well as grabbing the ones in the house afterwards. You actually have to have Attract Studs Extra ON to get these only by jumping.

BE SURE to save when you get close. My game just froze at 9.1 billion. I ran around Bree 30 times! (yes I'm calculating how long it should take me.) Now I'm back down to just over 5.9 billion.

FYI, finding the final minikit will give you 1,000,000 studs. With full multipliers, this ends at 3,840,000,000, which is actually 38.4% of what is needed for this achievement. You will unlock another 2,880,000,000 for collecting all 10 minikits in the previous 15 levels. My advise is simply to go for the 5 multiplier red bricks first and do not worry about the money, if you are aiming for 1000G anyway.

Great solution only took 10 minutes and just to correct it is roughly 97 million studs each run

Did I just really grind 6 billion studs only for the game to freeze and lose all my progress? Not once has the game frozen on me until now. VERY frustrating to do this boring grind again. 😡😠🖕

Only had to go around Bree 36 times to get from 6 billion to 10 bil. each run around is like 25 seconds, so at just over .1 bil per run, that's like 15 minutes. I'm unemployed so I had nothing better to do. Just do a little calculation and you'll figure it out. Each run is between 105,139,200 and 111,744,000 studs. Depends on how randomly you veer from the track. Also keep in mind that right before you re-enter the town from the hill area - there is a purple stud kind of hidden to the left of the entrance, so with Attract Studs on, keep close to the left of the entrance and you should be able to grab it.

Another decent location to get a purple stud to respawn quickly.

Fast travel to Moria, which is in the bottom middle portion of the map. Just to the left of where you spawn, by the waters edge and underneath the arrow target, is a purple stud. Collect it, and then run down the tunnel right behind you. This takes you to a new area - The Elven Forest.

Now, run back down the tunnel and you'll get back to Moria and the purple stud will have reappeared. The transition between the two areas takes only a couple of seconds, so with all of the multipliers on you should be able to rack up the studs pretty quickly!

Without a doubt the easiest way to get this achievement. Especially if you equip the mithril horse shoes which make your character walk/run faster. It took me around 5 minutes to get from 7 to 10 billion studs. Super easy. Thank you so much for this solution!!

This is an addition to Da Mitch Man 90's guide.

I was having a trouble getting the purple stud to spawn as often as he was. I'm not sure if it's been patched, or if it was because I was in Free Roam and not in the story but it just wouldn't spawn anywhere near as quickly.

I did a video showing how I got it to spawn every time.

If it works, make sure you give Da Mitch Man 90 a thumbs up as well because without his guide I wouldn't have got the idea or the location.

You can get it to respawn by walking about 10 ft away. There is a line leading to a dark spot walking toward the smaller island. If you walk toward it keeping your camera on the purple stud you'll notice it reappear. I got it to consistently spawn by walking in a narrow oval.

If you turn your second pad on and place them on the little island nearby I found that...

1. Easy to get it to respawn
2. Every time it does your second pad gets lots of studs as they respawn too

Can anyone explain to me why this one is flagged as misable? I seems like you can replay maps after completing the game and still get this ?!!!?!

Racked up over 6,000,000,000 in two minutes by following Phil the Bear's instructions - set up Controller 2's character on the little island. Then Controller 1 character just ran two steps forward and two steps back making the purple stud regenerate constantly. Easy! :D

I did this by doing An Unexpected Party. That's What Bilbo Baggins Hates! With all the stud multipliers turned on. I got 192 million each time.

My solution for The Unassessably Wealthy achievement, which I will post the video as well that I made explaining it, is to select any level from the map of Middle-Earth, Use cn_left + cn_right to select "An Unexpected Party", which is the second level in the list.

Select free play, and use cn_down to select "That's What Bilbo Baggins Hates".

First off, I want to just say that others have obviously thought this a good grind spot as well, as you can see in *Keylml2012's* solution, though I had an idea of not just doing that part of the level over and over, but to do it once and get as many studs as you can in one go!

Now then, as you will see in the video, I'm at the very last pair of dwarves in the video, though it can be done on any of them, for as long as you wish, until you move on to the next. At the time of the video I only have the x2, x4, and x8 red bricks so its only times x64, so with all of the bricks I'm sure you can imagine how much faster this would be then in the video.

All you have to do, is hit cn_A, cn_B, cn_X, or cn_Y when the button "symbol" in the middle of the plate gets to the inside edge of the plate and the "glow" streaks come from the plate. if you hit it right you get a blue stud.

Do this again for the second button you need to press, and on the third, just let it go, your dwarf will drop the plate and start over. This can be done as many times as you wish, so it seems, I had not hit an end but if anyone does please comment with when, meaning how many studs you had when, it stopped you, and I will post it, though I don't believe it will have a cap.

NOTE: story mode should work fine (as far as I know) though you just need to play through the level to get to the "That's What Bilbo Baggin's Hates" part of the level.

Lastly, I would just like to say, this is my very first solution on trueachievements (as well as my first time EVER doing a voice over for a video, so be nice! =D), so I hope you like the idea and please give it a thumbs up if it helped! =]

NOW GO GET THOSE CHEEVOS YOU CHEEKY COMPLETIONISTS!

All of the above solutions worked, but were much to involved for me. I had already played the game and gotten 100% so replaying levels or running around collecting gems just didn't appeal to me.

To grind out the last bit that I needed I simply turned on all the multipliers, attract studs, and poo studs. Then I got on a horse and started pressing cn_B while I watched a movie. About 30 mins later I had all the studs I needed and didn't have to pay attention.

The REALLY easiest way to get this achievement is by fast travelling to Caradhras, going to the small rocky isle and from there you can go more west and you'll see a purple stud popping. By walking up and down, it respawns. I found this method on YouTube (
) and it even faster than the Bree method or other guides listed on this thread.
PS: you can also walk in a circle around the mining thing AND put on the Mithril Horse Shoes to be even more faster ^^

To be honest, I found the quickest area to accumulate studs was at Bree.

First off, it goes without saying that to get this you need to have the x2, x4, x6, x8 and x10 multipliers on. Also, key for me was the attract studs red brick as well.

With that, fast travel to Bree. From where you start, walk right and collect the blue stud, then walk counter clockwise round Bree, inside the walls. You will pick up another 3-4 blue studs easily, but key is the doorway where Bilbo needs to use the ring (in the middle of Bree). With attract studs on, you don't need to do anything, just walk right up to the "door" and you get 3 blue and 1 purple stud. From there, look up and there is a walkway above you with another 3 blue and 1 purple stud on. Just stand below it and jump - with the attract studs on, you will collect them all.

Inside 1 minute, you have just collected over 100,000,000 studs (1% of what you need). Now, go into the blacksmiths shop, and once inside, you can leave and they will have all respawned, so you can just rinse and repeat.

Good luck!!

You don't necessarily have to grind for this achievement. I got this naturally while working on completing the game 100% at around 87%. Your first focus after finishing the story mode obviously should be to get the stud multipliers as fast as possible and with the studs earned from the story mode you can already buy the 2x multiplier.

Save your money and work on getting the other multipliers. You can earn a bunch of money by doing the missions in free play which helps you to earn the multipliers. There are specific quests you have to do in order to be able to buy the multiplier. Refer to a guide (like this: http://www.gamefaqs.com/xboxone/739682-lego-the-hobbit/faqs/...) for those requirements.

I found an very easy, fast but boring way to get a lot of studs.
It's easier, when you activate all multipliers and the "attract studs" extra.
Take a horse, it's faster wink
When you leave Bree near to the Blacksmith, turn left, when you're on top the little hill, follow the path (you should come back to Bree) ant turn again left though the big gate and return to Bree.
Directly behind the big gate is a beam over the street. Hop and you get the studs. Turn again left. you see wraith bricks. Behind these, there is an other purple stud, and a view blue ones.
You don't need to interact w/ them, ride near to them, that's enough.
Now, restart.

Going off of DaveKinetic's Guide I was able to create a solution to his issue being unable to spawn the purple stud to spawn faster.

1) You'll need two controller's for this guide to be able to work (you have been warned of course you'll need another to complete the game anyway).

2) Go to the area Da Mitch Man's guide takes you to (all reguards to the video goes to Da Mitch Man 90 none of this video is mine or am I claiming it is).

3) From here you'll want to have your other controller handy and you'll want to place gandalf (or whoever) near the water where he goes in the video.

4) Next run over to the purple stud and you'll find a rock in front of it facing the water, start running around the rock and the purple stud will spawn every rotation you make. I was able to get this going and got about 4 billion studs in 10 mins. (clip I made shows how to obtain it) Best of luck to you out there!

This goes along with every other guide that someone else has done, namely Da Mitch Man 90's location, but I was able to get it down to arguably the quickest method. Only red bricks necessary are the multiplier bricks (2x, 4x, 6x, 8x, and 10x) and the attract stud brick.

The video explains it all better than I can through text.

Sorry, this Game Clip has been removed

Once again, all credit goes to Da Mitch Man 90 and his guide for the Xbox 360 achievement.

To unlock this massive achievement, you’ll need to earn 10,000,000,000 studs. Single player only achievement don't go for this in Co-Op.

Finding the x2, x4, x6, x8 and x10 red bricks will help you out tremendously. Collecting the all will earn you a x3840 multiplier for every stud collected. Remember, all of the Mithril items to get the multipliers need to be forged first, so you'll need to find the Blacksmith.

Click HERE for a guide on how to unlock multipliers.

How to Unlock the Blacksmith:
You will need Ori and Sam or Fili for this. Suggest doing this after completing the story. First, you need to travel to Bree. The Blacksmith Shop should show on your map if you set it as your destination or look for the forge sign. Talk to a lady with a beard. The quest is called “Smithy in Peril.” She wants you to find her husband. Search the caves around Weathertop for the missing Blacksmith. The cave is right next to Carpenter’s Quandary. It should show on your map after you’ve talked with her.

Once inside, you’ll see the Blacksmith jumping up and down. You need to do a buddy-up smash attack on a wall and then use Ori to shoot a target with his slingshot. Next, use Sam or Fili to plant a mushroom jumper. Jump up and turn the green lever to raise the platform (make sure you turn it fully). Exit the cave head back to Bree. You can now begin forging Mithril.

Forge:
Select a design piece you have found to forge. Displayed at the bottom of the screen in the required LEGO loot you need to craft each item.

Unlimted Studs:
Turn on the multipliers in the Extras menu if you have them. Travel to Bree. There will be a Ghost looking door only Bilbo can smash. It's between the Prancing Pony and the Blacksmith.

Use Bilbo and hit to activate the ring and smash the door there. There should be three blue studs and a purple one in the corner. Come back out and go into the Blacksmith shop. Now come back out and the ghost door should re-spawned. If you get the Stud Attract red brick you can farm this area a lot quicker. Using Beorn's Bear form it will make this a faster process. Rinse and repeat until satisfied.

10 billion is a lot of studs even with the maximum possible multiplier of 3840, but by using a purple stud that you can repetedly respawn it can be done very quickly.

The stud in question is on the backside of the island near the Caradhras Eagle Statue (Lower Middle of the map). When you find the purple stud next to a skeleton collect it and walk towards the water. At some point, approximately by the LEGO rock you will see the stud respawn. If you use the Attract Studs red brick you don't have to walk more than a step towards the stud for it to be picked up. By wiggling back and forth across the line you can thus collect the stud about once a second which gives you tens of millions of studs every second and the achievement in about five minutes. assuming you have all the stud multipliers.
