How to unlock the Ever "The People's Champion" achievement in LEGO The Hobbit - Definitive Guide

This achievement is somewhat glitched - I had completed the game 100% and this did not unlock. I was able to get it by going back to Lake-Town and replaying the hide and seek game just across the bridge from the character creation house.

There are 170 Mithril bricks to be collected from the various fetch-quests. MissJaded at xboxachievements.com has put together an excellent roadmap, as well as an excellent guide for the 360 version here at TA:

LEGO The Hobbit (Xbox 360)To Be Continued...The To Be Continued... achievement in LEGO The Hobbit (Xbox 360) worth 194 pointsAchieve 100% completion

edit: since this might not have been clear, here's an image of who you need to speak to:

The quest giver is due west of the character creation house. You need to go during the day. When you start the quest again, there are no quest markers. you can follow this video if you need to see the locations.

Please ask for clarification before downvoting. Thank you.

edit 2.12.15: After a little more digging, it looks like this achievement can glitch completely. After talking with VirusTk GaMBit, It appears that if you have 100% completion, and have completed this quest already, when you get to the quest start location, there will just be a ring of studs instead of a person. If this is the case, you most likely have a glitched game, and will need to restart to get the achievement. As of today, there appears to be no workaround for this. cry

I'm totally screwed. The hide and seek once more quest-giver doesn't pop up at all. The only thing i can see is a ring of studs. I don't want to restart everything again because of that stupid shit.

VirusTk and I spent a lot of time trying to work around this, but couldn't come up with anything. Unfortunately TT has a bad habit of glitchy achievements.

Sadly, the That's No Slow Bow quest giver is not showing up for me. I heard you have to do Spoils of War but he's not there. I also have the Mithril Multi-Bow. I would prefer not starting over.

Edit: I now have 100% completion. I'm gonna wait for Lego Skywalker to get cheap or go to Gamepass/GWG before playing it, but it's next on my list.

Some of you found a way? Got 100%, no achievement, no quests left.

Replayed the whole game again, finally worked then. Notice: You do not need to buy the red bricks after completing the tasks for this achievement.

@Corleone what do you mean when you said: fulfilled the remaining requirements for the achievement.

If I have the 100% completion and no tasks where available...!!??

Hi, I have the same problem as Super FLY 1988. I just cant figure out how to replay the hide and seek mission. In fact I have found the quest giver but she is not in her normal position and I cant speak to her. Can you give me any help or does this simply mean that I am screwed?

To avoid problems, I closed the game, disconnected the internet from the xbox, started the game again and fulfilled the remaining requirements for the achievement. Then I close the game and reconnect the internet. If the pop-up doesn't appear right away, I look at the notifications. If nothing has appeared yet, I just delete the save game from the console only, start the game, sync it to the cloud, start a level in free play mode, get some studs and save and quit.

I unlocked all the loseable achievements this way, without having to restart the whole game again.

BE AWARE SOME QUESTS MAY BE GLITCHED; THEY MAY FREEZE YOUR GAME.

After completing Chapter 2, “An Unexpected Party”, you are introduced to the map of Middle-earth. To access the map, press . On it you will see both white and red question marks; white is for mini-games, fetch quests and puzzles to obtain Mithril bricks, and red is marked for fetch quests to unlock the red bricks. It's suggested you complete both Story and Free Play before attempting these as many of these quests require certain character abilities to locate treasure items, schematics and Mithril bricks. Finding these items will allow you to complete more quests.

To complete the white question mark quests, you need to locate the 64 treasure items within the story levels. Most can only be collected in Free Play with a certain character. Completing each quest will reward you with a Mithril brick.

To complete the red question mark quests, you first need to locate all 32 schematics in the story levels. Most can only be collected in Free Play with specific characters. Then, you need a certain amount of Mithril bricks and different types of loot in order to forge the 32 Mithril items which then are given to the quest givers for the red bricks.

NOTE: Some characters may give you more than one quest, so after you complete one, another may appear on the map soon after. Just keep completing quests and more will show up. Some quests can only be completed during a certain time of day, go to a nearby campsite on your map to pass the time.

If you need stud money for things refer to "The Unassessably Wealthy".
