How to unlock the Key to the City achievement in LEGO The Incredibles - Definitive Guide

Far from a full guide but I wanted to link people to this vid that shows how to get the gold brick in the floating shipping container. It was the last one for me so it might be for you.

You can drive the speedboat into the shipping container and glitch inside to get the gold brick also.

For the boat race in Docks, use Dash once he can run on water. I just got gold with him! Don't worry about the speed boost for boats halfway through, just go around the dock to the left. It is much easier than with a boat. Good luck!

That's what I did, after 3 tries I was going to give up as the boost only seemed to work for the incredimobile and no other boats. Dash was fastest.

Surprise! It's another 100% trophy in a LEGO game! While there haven't been any reports of this trophy glitching, I highly recommend making a save backup before reaching 100%!

To get 100%, you must do the following:

  • Play all 12 levels + bonus level
  • True Super all 12 levels
  • Get all minikits in all 12 levels
  • Clear all district crime waves
  • Clear all district challenges
  • Clear all district hidden challenges
  • Clear all family builds
  • Clear all Pixar builds
  • Clear all races with gold medal times
  • Collect all incredibricks (there are 30 extra bricks than you'll actually need for builds)
  • Collect all gold bricks
  • Collect all red bricks
  • Buy all cars
  • Open all blind bags
  • Unlock all characters

This surprisingly isn't nearly as bad as it sounds, as the hub world is actually pretty small, and the game will tell you exactly where everything is. Once you clear a district's crime wave, all the collectibles, builds, and races will be shown on the map – you just need to set a location marker and get there. The challenges, however, you must either find on your own, or switch on the Pickup Detector red brick – you will get it from the Urbem Heights Pixar build.

Once you've finished story mode, you will have every character you'll need to clean up the hub world, except for a single gold brick: for that, you'll need a mind control character. Either chance the gold or silver blind bags, or just create a custom character with the mind control ability (No Capes!).

I recommend unlocking I'm a Billionaire! before starting to open the blind bags or buying cars. If you concentrate on the Pixar builds over everything else in the hub world, you will unlock all the stud multiplier red bricks. If you turn all of them on while doing the rest of the builds, you'll come fairly close to the billion stud requirement, as builds award a ton of studs, and you would have a 960x multiplier active.

There's no stud fountain or anything that you need to find. Once you hit 100%, you will unlock this trophy.

Note: As you complete story levels, collect minikits, build family builds, and complete challenges, you will unlock a majority of the character powers, but there may be a few here and there that you still need, so it is suggested that you create characters with powers you still require.

You will obtain 100% in this game once you have satisfied these requirements:

  • Collect all 210 Gold Bricks
    • Complete all 12 story levels (12 bricks)
    • Obtain 'True Super' in each story level (12 bricks) (for "The Best of The Best")
    • Collect 10 minikits in each story level (12 bricks) (for "Kitted Up")
    • Complete the bonus level (1 brick) (for "Where Are They Now?")
    • Complete all 10 crime waves (multiple bricks for each district) (28 bricks) (for "Superhero of the Year")
    • Complete all 25 hub races (with a gold medal) (25 bricks)
    • Complete all 22 Family builds (22 bricks) (for "Truly Incredible!")
    • Complete all 20 challenges (20 bricks) (YouTube playlist by Bricks to Life)
    • The remaining gold bricks are found in the hub (78 bricks)
  • Collect all 12 Red Bricks (for "Luck Favors the Prepared")
  • Unlock and purchase all 113 characters (Story, Minikits, Family Builds, Challenges, Crime Waves, and blind bags)
  • Unlock and purchase all 40 vehicles (last 12 vehicles come from collecting all minikits)
  • Create a custom character (for "Bold! Dramatic! Heroic!")
Pressing button-page.png will give your totals for the district you are currently located in. Pressing button-menu.png will give your overall percentage and progress.
