How to unlock the Making Parr achievement in LEGO The Incredibles - Definitive Guide

This is actually very easy with a flying character with a laser ability.

Select Fironic (unlocked for fully completing Undermined - costs 250,000) OR a Custom Character created in Edna's House with the light super power as your first character and select Elastigirl as your second character.

Load up: Elastigirl On The Case - Free Play - Screenslaver Chase

- Simply fly over everything in the first corridor section
- Use Elastigirl to pull down the stairs
- Use Fironic/Custom to fly up and push the buildable down and then assemble the cannon
- Use Elastigirl on the pad
- Use Fironic/Custom to laser the gold fuse and then fly up and out the door
- Simply fly over everything in the second corridor section
- Use Elastigirl to pull the handle
- Use Fironic/Custom to laser the gold wall and then fly up and down the corridor for the last time

How do you assemble the train properly? It isn't doing anything and I'm stuck.

There was a train section? lol It’s been so long since I last played this game so honestly I don’t remember. Best thing to do is to have a look at videos on that level.

There's a little train you can build in the first open area. From what I've seen, it can be built 2 different ways, and doesn't seem to do much other than offer some studs. (It can be built either with loops, or as a straight track.)

Some good news, this achievement can be done but selecting "Screenslaver Chase" from the free play menu

The time window is a little tight but follow these tips and it should be a piece of cake.

-Mildly Important: Have Elastigirl and Reflux selected BEFORE you start up the scene from Chapter 4. Like I said, the chase has a tight window so having an active character that isnt optimized for this level will waste time.

-Take your time and be quick, its a speed run section sure but you'll waste more time fighting the games mechanics if you go to quick. Run the level a few times, remember the queues of what's to come and dont just jam on the B button to build. Wasted time really hurts and undoing the ball thing she does isnt fun.

-The hallway run sequences are pretty straight forward.
-On the first, just try to go slow, none of the citizens do anything seriously sporadic so you should be fine.
-On the second hallway, there are two brown box piles, put your character on the same side of the wall they're falling from, jump at the right time and you'll walk over the biggest piece of the pile.
-Third hallway has nothing that will hold you back too bad, just keep dodging stuff.

-Have a smart phone or a computer handy for a timer. As soon as the scene starts, hit the go button. It will be the most accurate way you'll know if your on time.

Like I said, piece of cake. I wish I could show you a video of it but I can not. Ask me questions rather than downvote, I'm happy to help you perfect your path.

If you use Dash you can run to the end of the hallway sequences before Screenslaver even gets there which will trigger the next part early. I used LB/RB to cycle characters. Also destroy on contact red brick will stop you from getting held up on any boxes in the hallways.

Oh neat, I'll edit that in for coverage. I was able to get it without Dash or any red bricks on so at least the time window isn't that punishing

Yeah I think this achievement is bugged. I did it in 2.34 and it didn't unlock.

The timer for this trophy starts during the first hallway chase with Screenslaver and stops after the third hallway chase. There's not much you can do to cut down on the time needed to do this trophy – there's no free play character shortcuts here, outside of using a flying character in the staircase room to reach the bookcase you need to push instead of climbing up Elastigirl. I do recommend turning on the destroy on contact red brick to help with the hallways that have crates blocking your way – you still won't be able to run right through them, but once you jump on them you can just keep running instead of doing another jump to clear the rest of the crates.

The trophy will unlock during the level's ending cutscene.

This can only be done during Chapter 4, 'Elastigirl On the Case'. Select second part of Freeplay since it's easier.

Wait until Freeplay unlocks to do this so you can use a flying character and you can select the second part of the mission because the timer starts when you see Screenslaver in the hallway. Use a timer here if needed.

Here are the steps to take to complete this:
1. Turn on the 'Destroy on Contact' red brick.
2. Select and use a flying character or use Dash.
3. Start mission.
4. Fly past everything.

Stair case room:
5. Use Elastigirl with to pull down stairs.
6. Use flying character up where the stairs are.
7. Push the case.
8. Build the stack.
9. Use Elastigirl on platform.
10. Use to Jack-Jack laser gold brick.
11. Use flying character go through door.

Elevator room:
12. Go past everything again. (You will go past Screenslaver for extra time)
13. Use Elastigirl on vent.
14. Use Jack-Jack on gold plate.
15. Use flying character go past everything.

During the cutscene you'll unlock the achievement.
