How to unlock the Pointy-eared Elvish princeling. achievement in LEGO The Lord of the Rings - Definitive Guide

This is easy to do in Helm's Deep (Story or Free Play) as soon as you are on top of the rampart (wall). Until you aim and shoot at the one on top of the ladder, the Uruk-hai will keep coming endlessly, so switch to Legolas and go nuts. Might as well get this too before moving on:
LEGO The Lord of the RingsThat one counts as mine! The That one counts as mine! achievement in LEGO The Lord of the Rings worth 13 pointsFinish one of Gimli's opponents as Legolas in 'Helm's Deep'.

The Dawn of Don points out that this is even easier once you've beaten the game. If you haven't bought the Uruk-hai, fast travel to Helm's Deep - Nighttime (lower left of map) to buy him. Uruk-hai with other names will not work. Set your character to Legolas and the other to Uruk-hai, then kill him until it pops.

Also of note, this doesn't need to be done in one sitting and is cumulative.

If you are going two for one achievements this is the best way. If your looking for something a little less hectic purchase the Uruk-hai when you have unlocked the free play for the world and set the first character to Legolas and second character to the Uruk-hai. Then just kill the second character until the achievement pops. I did it this way just to confirm it can be done as a second option to Mental Knight 5's solution.

This is my own guide that I made recently for this achievement.

Alright guys, you're going to want to do this on the mission Helm's Deep because Uruk-hai are the only enemies you will find here. Once you get on top of the ramparts, Uruk-hai will start spawning and then you can take them out. Don't take out the ladders as this will cause Uruk-hai to stop spawning! If you do accidently take the ladders out, do not worry as there will be plenty of more Uruk-hai to find throughout the rest of the level.

Please watch the video as I show you exactly how to do all of this! If you have any questions, please leave a comment and let me me know if there is anything I can do to improve my solution, thanks!

You can do this on -Amon Hen- when you fight the Urak-hai at the end of the LVL just don't hit the boss(up on the top ledge, you have to crawl through a hole to hit him with a small character),untill you've killed 42 Urak-hai that run from the sides. They will continue to re-spawn as long as the boss is there.Achievement will pop in gameplay so you'll know when to finish the boss/LVL.

This can also be done once you have purchased the character. Providing you didn't get it in one of the missions. Select it as you're second player and proceed to beat him up until he's smashed, rinse and repeat.

An easy place to get this is the beginning of the mission Helm's Deep. Instead of removing the Uruk-hai ladders, kill the infinitely spawning enemies until the trophy pops :)

You can grab this achievement easily in the Helm's Deep mission do not destroy any of the ladders on the wall and switch to Legolas and constantly kill any Uruk-Hai that appear
you can also get That one counts as mine! at the same time.

Any easy way to farm this achievement if you have beat the game is to buy the Uruk-Hai character from Helm's Deep at night time on the over world no other name variation of the character will work and switch the second character to Legolas and constantly kill the Uruk-Hai.

Uruk-hai appear in both the “Amon Hen” and “Helm’s Deep” levels. If you play as Legolas for the entire duration of these story levels, you should get this trophy without farming. However, if you still haven’t got it, the best place is at the beginning of “Helm’s Deep” when you have to push the ladders off the ramparts, as there is unlimited spawns of Uruk-hai until you do so. You should also aim for That one counts as mine! at the same time.

This achievement is as easy as it sounds. A couple of good levels to go for this are 'Amon Hen' and 'Helm's Deep', with the latter having unlimited enemy spawns if you don't continue progression by destroying all of the ladders. If you're attempting it on 'Helm's Deep', you can work on it at the same time as trying to unlock That one counts as mine!
