How to unlock the Billionaire! achievement in LEGO Worlds - Definitive Guide

I found this video on YouTube and have been doing this method myself and I get about 40 million every 10 minutes meaning from 0 to 1 billion should take just over 4 hours which I think is quicker than anyone else has posted.

The good thing about this is that because you are in a vehicle you don't need to collect anything, it does it automatically.

Also wanted to note that the video says to use 15 deposit boxes, I lagged very badly doing that many, but 12 was fine for me on XBox1X (a few stutters every 10 or so but nothing like when I was dropping 15) and 12 is where I get my 40 mil/10 mins from.
If you don't have the X you may need to reduce the amount

Not sure what to tell you mate, I just jumped in to LEGO Worlds again for the GamePass quest and I still have this set up and it worked for me
Your main account needs to be the one to spawn in all the boxes and then sit in the vehicle, then have your guest copy them and paste them. It sounds like you are missing a step somewhere.
If you are still having issues then PM me with the specific steps you are taking and I'll try and help you more if I can

I recently did this on a 2nd account cause i love the game so much. The 1st time i unlocked it was when the copy glitch for the coin/stud chest was out back in 2017 and on the 2nd account i did the new method.
1st: if you’re on an old xbox place around 6-8 safety deposits and if you’re on a new xbox like me place 12 safety deposits to avoid freezes.

2nd: copy and save it to your builds with the copy tool incase you have to leave then come back (u must copy the ground with the boxes so it registers as a build) then place that new build you just saved and place 1 lego piece/brick on top of the safety deposit boxes for controller 2 to copy and paste

3rd: Get your 2nd controller out and spawn in then spawn a flying vehicle in with controller 1 or 2 then hop into the vehicle with your 1st controller and fly high in the sky to avoid crashes and maintain good frames (the account/controller you need the achievement for) then go into first person and just stare straight with controller 1 to just see straight sky

4th: get the copy tool out with controller 2 and copy the build you placed with controller 1 (Safety Deposit Boxes for 1Bill achievement) then keep your left stick in the same position to avoid crashes then just press A with controller 2 and keep doing that till you get 1 Billion studs

Info/Tips:
With 12 Safety Deposit Boxes i got 313k and some change with every click
THERE WILL BE BOXES INSIDE OF EACH OTHER JUST SITTING THERE. DO NOT BREAK THEM WITH GRENADES OR THE LANDSCAPE TOOL OR YOUR GAME WILL FREEZE AND YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR PROGRESS JUST LEAVE THEM THERE AND GO TO A NEW WORLD OR A NEW SPOT IF YOU HAVE TO LEAVE AND COME BACK.
I used a turbo controller/stick on controller 2 so i could do other stuff when i was doing this for the 2nd time.
Controller 1 will turn off even with rubber banding it so you must be present as you’re doing this.
Your frames will drop so don’t worry about that, i think i was at 20 frames per second for hours when doing this.
SAVE EVERY 50 MILLION-100 MILLION.

How often did you spawn the copy?
0
0
By thatNoseyParker on 19 Nov 2019 22:22
Every few seconds, maybe 5 or so. To be honest its a bit of feeling it out. If it lags too hard then don't spawn them again until the frame-rate returns.
After a while you will see the lag causing the boxes to load in not all at once so I would basically wait until they were all there and hit it again

Fair enough. I was running a local game on my X, feeling it out, roughly after 4 or 5 seconds. Unfortunately due to lag I only ended up with 50 mil after 20-30 minutes

Good guide nonetheless

Hmmmm, mine definitely wasn't that bad. I went a little slower than he does in the video, and like I say paused to let it catch up when it lagged too much.

Only other thing I did was go into first person view with my main account in the vehicle and look at the floor just so there was less on screen for it to deal with, I don't think it really made any difference though to be honest.

Having issues with this, I'm in adventure mode and I've followed the video. When I spawn the copied "model" above the vehicle and it breaks/falls, there are no studs to be collected. I'm not sure if the game has been patched or if I'm missing something.

Far better than digging holes and standing in them +1. Also works well with getting final bricks from Troublemakers as you can jump out of the vehicle, catch them and get back in without having to set it all up again.

What made a huge difference for me was going into the settings and disabling Motion Blur. This made a huge improvement with the lag. I could press the button every 2 seconds with little lag instead of every 5 seconds beforehand.

Anyone tried this recently? On a Series X and using 12 boxes. When I press A it lags for about 45 seconds and then the coins take another 45 seconds. So I can only press A every 90 seconds.

Not to take anything away from the solutions above, but here's another option that some may find easier, quicker or just to break the monotony of this achievement....

All credit for this has to go to BTHRZeroX on TrueTrophies. I'm merely cross-posting it here to give it more visibility.

I found that by adding a fourth safety deposit box across the face of the three shown in the video I could generate 21m every 10 minutes. This is with the positioning of your character below the safes in the hole being spot on (largely down to luck as once you're in the "copy" tool the game moves you as it sees fit) and the correct rhythm of pressing "A". I found once every other second worked best. Too quickly seems to upset the game.

I also tried with a lot more safety deposit boxes, but no other combination worked as effectively as four. More than this and you seem to a) not have enough radius to pick them all up, b) get thrown out of the hole a lot, wasting loads of time and c) crash the game much more often.

It still took me 10ish hours of mind numbing grind, but I got there.

As mentioned elsewhere, save OFTEN. I did so every 10m and still lost quite a bit of progress to crashes.

Good luck!

This is by far the easiest method and requires much less effort once set up. I found that using a 2nd controller to place the safes above me whilst my main stood at the bottom of the hole worked most efficiently. Thanks for this toast

If you're using 2 controllers, put your main inside a vehicle. Then paste the copied boxes near (but not overlapping) the vehicle. The vehicle sucks up all nearby studs when something breaks. No need to dig a hole or any other fancy setup.

I'm using a CronusMax on a second controller, placing 4 boxes every second. I'm getting about 180 million per hour, so about 5.5 hours to finish.

I'm currently doing this on PS4, but presumably it will work the same on X1.

Just wanted to emphasize I got the best results if I put in a pause of one second between pressing A.

And just use Copy; don't make your own Build. Continually placing a build with a Safety Deposit Box will not drop studs.

Did this in like 4 hours using the series X since there’s less lag. What I found is that sometimes if it starts to lag really bad it’s because the copied safety deposit boxes get stuck in the original set and not destroy it like it should. If this happens just destroy them all and reset

Collect a billion studs... hard work here. With the latest patch nullifying the last method. I've got another for you. But it would require you clicking y then a on a second controller thousands of times, or using a device like a cronusmax to do that for you.

You could farm this the old fashion way, which I would stay farm the crap out of chests and keep selling your high dollar items.

If you prefer the easy way out, check out the following.

I don't remember exactly where I got the build, but framing the gold bricks for the other achievement using the chests will probably net you with it. If not are you able to discover items online in other players games? If so that may be am easy solution to farming the build.

The Build probably comes from a Chest, so continuing to open them should give it.

However, here's a town with a Bank. Enter coordinates: x-155y26z-235, world size X (this is the 1x2 Legendary Brick World). Follow the blue dot to a Town, which has a Bank. If you have any trouble finding the Bank, its coordinates are x80 y29 z111.

You'll need 80 Gold Bricks before you can enter coordinates to go to this World. I think Towns start appearing at 60 Gold Bricks, so you could get lucky a bit earlier. On the other hand, you're probably not going to worry about 1 Billion Studs until you have the other achievements anyway.

Credit to Calex dEUS for mentioning that this world has a modern town. That gave me the idea to check for a Bank there.

Thanks for the script. Here's a slight improvement, inspired by this script.

Clicking the LS will turn the script on, clicking again will turn it off. No rubberbanding of RT required. AFAIK, clicking LS has no effect in Lego Worlds, so there shouldn't be any conflicts with regular game play.

int ON;

main {
if (event_press(XB1_LS)) {ON= !ON;}
if (ON) {combo_run (Y_A);}
if (!ON){combo_stop(Y_A);}
}

combo Y_A{
set_val(XB1_Y, 100);
wait(40);
set_val(XB1_Y, 0);
wait(250);
set_val(XB1_A, 100);
wait(40);
set_val(XB1_A, 0);
wait(250);
}

HighonMisery this is done on the Xbox one but you need to buy a Cronus Max (which works on all consoles) if you don't fancy spamming Y and A for 20+ hours. You will also need cables to plug the controllers in stop the auto switching off. Follow the video.

I can confirm that the glitch still works in 1.05. It's a bit harder to get working, but it works exactly the same. I assume it hasn't been patched yet because unlike the previous method, this one isn't really that well-known yet. Haven't heard a damn thing about it on the other side of the console pond.

It also works with a Hama Speedshot Mouse and Keyboard Converter, it´s a little bit cheaper than the Chronus max. Activate rapid fire (page up + the key you want) and put something between the specific keys on your keyboard to hold them down. Takes around 7 hours straight.

So with that script, in order to use it for ps4 would I just have to change the (XB1_LS) parts to (PS4_LS)? also for the other ones (XB1_A) How would I change them into triangle and x?

Sorry if this is really obvious, I just dont want to spent all that money on a cronus to find out its useless.

Here's a chart of all CronusMax button / stick names. You would use PS4_TRIANGLE and PS4_CROSS, it appears.

I don't see PS4_LS on the chart. That part of the script just turns the script on and off by clicking the left stick, so it isn't completely necessary. Line 8 of the chart has PS4_L3 and XB1_LS, so perhaps PS4_L3 is the correct choice. I don't know PS4 controllers well enough to know what button L3 means.

I did this by using a regular controller without the use of a turbo controller of cronusmax. I learned two important things by doing this:
1) Save and exit at every increment of 50,000,000 studs. I lost a lot of progress from waiting too long and having the game freeze on me before I could make a succesful save.
2) The safety deposit box drops 15680 studs every time it breaks. That means you need to break about 63776 items. That means that you will need to make 127552 button presses, minimum, to get the achievement.
all told, this took me about 16 hours to accomplish.

main{
if(get_val(XB1_RT)){
combo_run(Y_A);
}
}

combo Y_A{
set_val(XB1_Y, 100);

set_val(XB1_Y, 0);

Thanks for pointing me towards this video! Helped me get it really easily. I'll throw some warnings out though. Make it a point to save at set intervals. While doing this my game crashed several times, and there's no auto save. At first I saved every 100 million, then every 50, then every 25 mllion. It can be frustrating losing all the work you'd done if the game freezes out. This doesn't need to be done with one setting. Not sure if it matters, but I made sure I had a full second profile logged in as the second controller spawning, not just a guest.

It's not fast but here is the easiest way I have found to go for this:

You can now use the Sky Spinner to speed this up.

Go into Free Build, and place 225 (Gem Boulder's) down which will give you 99 on each Gem color. Each boulder gives you 3 to 4 Gem's. When you have broken all 225 Boulder's, place another 225. Do NOT place to many down at the same time on the world, because it starts to go really slow and crashes. And ALWAYS SAVE after selling them to the trader.

Sighris made a great point, He did about 50. Then placed the build inside an old build and it auto broke the rocks, He would do this 3-5 times then run in pick them all up and sell. Repeated several times during 1 night. Doing this he made approximately 25 mil from 1 visit of the vendor.

External image

99 - Yellow Gem's = 891,000
99 - Orange Gem's = 891,000
99 - Blue Gem's = 891,000
99 - Green Gem's = 891,000
99 - Red Gem's = 891,000

225 Gem Boulder's contain 495 Gem's and will get you a total of 4,455,000 when you sell to the trader.

You just have to wait until the trader comes at night. Use the Sky Spinner to speed this up.

This is a very easy way to get the 1 Billion Studs, you only need to find a Safety Deposit Box, Look for one at 283-935-56 G and just follow my video.

As of posting this 8th December 2017 this works for the latest Patch.

Been using this sometime in December.....worked fine then.When i do it now,it spits out a ton of cash for the first 10-15 times but then declines rapidly towards only spitting out around 20-40000 studs......increases after reloading but only repeats the rapid declination.

So you gotta try and go for this with putting up gem boulders,gun racks,sword racks and the likes,copy them over and smash those up to sell the loot to the trader.....

This trophyis by far the most ridiculous.....in EVERY other LEGO game you get brick multipliers to reach these stupid high stud figures.....but not in this nah ah....they want you to play this until you have nightmares where you are being hunted by a stud army.... angry

One billion coins in lego games with Red bricks x2, x4, x6, x8, x10 is a little money, but not in lego worlds. Most of people like the method with safety deposits, but it takes 4 hours. I found another strategy. You can use legendary money chest glitch. Here https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tU-63r72QB8&list=PLs9rvQZd.... It all Will take you only 40 minutes or only 30-20. It is very easy and i earned this trophy with this glitch. Good luck!!

I have the digital version of the game and the latest patch 1.15 installed.

The method mentioned by BTHRZeroX is no longer as effective as it was before.
I only get six to seven figure studs the first few times i use his method,after that it falls quickly to only low five digit stud amounts.....i have to save,quit and reload from the main menu after that to get high amounts of studs but only for a few times again....

I also tried DragonKingJesseB's method but that one has been patched as well....

So i had to find another solution which i did.
Gets me 20 million studs in about 5-10 minutes of work.

I went to a city area and destroyed a block with houses to have a totally flat workarea.I built a trench around it and walled it in and i also put up some kind of roof after some NPC's started riding on animals blasting through my setup and destroying it.....

I checked out,what the trader would buy and how much it was worth.Then i went through the inventory to see,what i had that i could use to farm these items.

The items i put up are the following:

- 25 sword barrels (Cutlass 10000 studs)
- 10 antique gun racks (Flintlock Pistol 10000 studs, Blunderbuss 2500 studs)
- 10 dojo sword racks (Ninja sword 40000 studs)

These three can be found in the Hazards crate.

- 20 Gem boulders (Yellow, red, orange, green and blue gem 9000 studs each color)
- 20 Nest treasure (Yellow, red, orange, green and blue crystal, jewel and gem 9000 studs each color)

These can be found in the Treasure crate.

I kept the boulders because the Nest treasure does generate more crystals and jewels than gems.

Oh and forget the roman weapon rack,the trader doesn't buy roman weaponry.....
And no, the dynamite crates only explode and do not generate dynamite you could sell....

You can probably put up more than these but i use the Safety Deposit Box method to break the stuff apart and that can freeze the game,if you overdo it.

So i copy this setup, place it some ways away from my template setup and place another copy and so on until the game nearly freezes up.
Then i go and collect the stuff lying around and destroy every item of this copied setup until i have an empty space again.

Save after you have cleaned your area of items!
In case you are able to freeze the game, soyou don't lose anything achieved so far.

I do NOT touch my template setup!

This i keep copying and destroying the copies until i got 99 of all mentioned items, then i use the Sky spinner to summon the trader to sell the items, netting me 20 million studs each time.

That way and with a little dedication it should be quickly done in a day.But it still is a drag.....

Hope this helps and hopefully they stop patching the ability to farm valuable items to reach this stupid high amount of studs.....

Just as a reference.....when you found ALL legendary bricks and destroyed all those chests sitting next to them,you have around 12-15 million studs.....leaving you with "only" 985 million more to find..... rock

This must be done in one go and does not count studs obtained before your current session.

This is by far the most difficult achievement to obtain legitimately, as it would require days of playing without pause or the game crashing. The current method to obtain it requires an online boosting partner (it cannot be done with a local second controller). Follow these steps for the easiest way to obtain the achievement:

  1. The player going for the achievement hosts an online game and goes to the Legendary Brick location at x13y33z31. Don't touch the stud chests next to the Legendary Brick. If you have already opened them, delete the world from the galaxy map and rediscover it.
  2. Dig a hole in the ground large enough for your character plus some extra space. Place a wheelbarrow on the edge of the hole. Jump in the hole.
  3. Invite the second player to join your game over Xbox Live.
  4. The second player will duplicate the stud chest that is next to the Legendary Brick. Hold to bring up the selection wheel and choose Free Build. Hold again and use to choose Objects. Press to deletee the default item and move the cursor so it highlights the stud chest. Hold and move the chest, then release . Press to place a duplicated stud chest. Move the chest to intersect with the wheelbarrow over the hole and press repeatedly to place chests.
  5. The second player will not see any studs, but the first player will get 60,000 studs falling into the hold for each chest that breaks. The second player then mashes while hoping the connection holds. This can take several hours.

Credit goes to SecondOne, Exploit Theory, Mike Geier, and Ktcee Achiever for this method.

The game has been patched now, you can no longer clone chests for methods before.

If you have a save from a while back when it took anything from 2-8 billion to unlock and didn't get the trophy you can now with this patch go into a world break something to earn studs and the trophy will unlock as long as you have over a billion.

The other thing with this patch is you no longer have to do this trophy in one session like before.

This isn't really a solution as to how to get the trophy because it's been bugged for a long time, I had a billion a very long time ago and have been waiting for the patch to fix it which only came out yesterday.

The legendary bricks are your best bet because they give out 60,000 studs per chest.

Any comments or negative feedback please let me know.

So, like 17,000 Legendary Brick chests, one by one. Ouch, guess I'll never beat this one

Here is my 100% achievement plan for Lego Worlds. I’ll go over how to unlock every achievement in the game. I hope it helps!

This trophy will be your longest grind. Unlike most LEGO games, this game does not have a cheat for extra studs, so you will need to get 1,000,000,000 via game play. There’s various methods on YouTube for collecting this money, the best method I found uses Safety Deposit Boxes. You can find these in banks in Towns. Usually in the basement. No matter which method you use, it will take 8-10 hours of grinding to get the studs required for the trophy.
For those who tried the platinum when the game first came out might remember this trophy being glitched to where you had to get all one billion in one sitting. This appears to have been fixed, so while it’s still a long slog, it’s more manageable than before.

This video shows the most effective way to extract parts through safe deposit boxes. This method works with any version of the game (at the time of writing this tip, this is version 1.12).
A few clarifications:
- It is better to use 4 safe deposit boxes, not three, as shown in the video. In one minute you will receive 1.5-2 million pieces (in an hour 90-120 million, respectively, it will take 8-11 hours to get the trophy). The game may slow down during the process, but this does not affect anything.
- You can automate the process using a turbo joystick or a script via remote play. Here is a detailed description of how to set everything up. You need to use the script for 10,000 kills from the end of the thread. You need to remove the line "send, Left DOWN" from the script. Using the script will allow you to avoid "exciting" violence against the X button for ten hours.

The method above is good but not ideal - friezes and lags delay the process.
To speed up the boost, I recommend an improved option:
We make the largest possible “square” hole, the bottom of the hole is a sphere (the parts fall into the base of the hole).
We put a 2*12 plank on the ground, place safes on one hundred sides, 4 each, for a total of 8 safes.
We copy the bar and the objects on it and move them to the pit area but do not lower it.
copy-paste over the pit and the fragments go to the sides, down (they don’t pile up) and this reduces the lags.
At the same time, we get at least 150m per hour from all 8 cells.
In two hours of boosting, I collected 311m of coins + besides, having got out of the pit during this time, 4 balloons and about 20-25 violators with parts and blocks were stuck in the city
