How to unlock the It's Alive! achievement in LEGO Worlds - Definitive Guide

To get this one, you'll need to create a custom minifig (make sure you're creating a totally new minifig with the "add character" option) using parts from various different characters introduced in the Monsters DLC (no two parts should be from the same minifigure). You'll need a minimum of 4 or 5 to do this, but contrary to the achievement description, you won't need ALL of the new minifigs.

Here's the list of minifigures that count, if you need a reference:

*Make sure you're using all different pieces when you do this, meaning separate shirt and arms, and seperate "hip" and leg pieces!

Nearly of them can be obtained by simple means: doing quests and handing out items. However, there are two additional minifigs that can only be unlocked by other means (and you should unlock them for the Colour Me Spooked achievement anyways). From the start menu, load your save file. The game places you at the galaxy map. Hit cn_B to return to the actual "main menu" of the game. Scroll to right until you reach the "Enter Code" option. Enter the following code to unlock a new minifigure: x29vty. You'll unlock this guy:

Now you can "buy" him in-game with the discovery tool, and you'll have more pieces to work with.

EDIT: the Bat Monster is no longer obtainable as the model to unlock him has been removed from the main menu. Luckily all achievements are still obtainable, you won't need him to 100% the game!!

The second minifigure is obtained from the same menu as the previous one. You'll notice that a Lego model is being shown in the center of the screen. You can save these models for use in-game! Scroll to the right until you reach the " + " symbol. Select this to save the current model to your in-game inventory. You can scroll through them with cn_LB and cn_RB if you aren't interested in saving them all. The one you specifically want to save is the Monster Graveyard. Once you've saved it, load up your Monsters DLC world, find an empty space, and "build" the model using the Discovery Tool.

Once it's finished building itself, you'll notice a new minifigure hanging out inside. Step into the graveyard and give the Bat Monster a Red Apple. You can now "discover" him and use him for the achievements, too!

Hey, monte! Are you using all different pieces? For example, different arms and hands, a different hip piece and different leg pieces? All of those smaller pieces need to be different, too!

My setup was something like this:

Mr Good And Evil's top hat
the witch's head
Skull Boy's shirt
the ghosts's arms
the Fly Monster's hand and pincher (counts as hands)
Skeleton Guy's hip piece
Chicken Suit Guy's legs

I can't seem to get this to unlock. Is there a certain combo that worked for you?

Chicken suit arms eliminate the need for hands if that helps anyone (they are wings with no hands).

I don't think different ones need to be on at the same time. I tried that with four different, then switched to banshee then just put on the top hat and it popped.

I just listed what worked for me, but if others have a similar experience I'll update the solution.

The Bat is no longer obtainable, but thankfully you can unlock the achievements without him anyways. You'll just have less parts to work with for this achievement, but there are still enough minifigs to unlock it. That's my bad for not editing the solution. I edited my other one but forgot I also put that info in this one. facepalm

I had difficulty unlocking this one too, until I realized that it wasn't enough to just customize your character by putting costume parts together: You also have to go to the head icon under the Full Costume tab and select "Add Character", otherwise it doesn't count.

You need to create a Custom Character by holding to pull up the tool wheel, and selecting the top option (with the MiniFigure head) Once you do this, you need to create a character using parts from the various characters from the DLC. You cannot select a costume; it has to be individual pieces. You need to switch at least 5 limbs before the trophy pops.

To unlock this achievement, you need to make a custom minifigure with different parts from the monster DLC. You need to use a minimum of 5 even though it says each of the new monster characters. You will need to discover the characters by doing quests for them around the world before you can do this. Here is a list of all the monsters in this DLC:

  • Banshee
  • Chicken Suit Guy
  • Fly Monster
  • Lord Vampyre's Bride
  • Mr. Good and Evil
  • Skeleton Guy
  • Spooky Boy
  • Witch
This is just an example, so you don’t need to do it like this:

  • Chicken Suit Guy ~ Arms
  • Mr. Good and Evil ~ Hands
  • Skeleton Guy ~ Body
  • Spooky Boy ~ Head
  • Witch ~ Hat
