Yes, this is a lot of gold, especially considering that you might get a few thousand in a battle. Note that you have to actually have this on you all at once.

Thumbs up, not sure what all the hate is about. In the later levels you can get 5-30K gold in a battle. You can also get 100k-500k for your daily log in when you are higher level and have beat a lot of the levels. Log into the dungeons everyday and beat the towers as well. I get about 85K a day from the dungeon just for logging in. The main problem in saving up money in this game is that you need to spend it all the time, a mill here a mill there. So you either log in for a few months and don't spend. Or you wait until you dominate this game, unlocked almost everything, then save your gold up to 100 Million.
