How to unlock the Normal Weapon Collector achievement in Lies of P - Definitive Guide

Make sure you buy the starting weapons from the vendor outside the first boss in Cerasani Alley as if you progress to far into the story you can't go back to him.

You will find normal weapons scattered throughout the game in chests. There is one that drops from an elite enemy. The rest can be bought from vendors throughout the game.

You will need to fully upgrade both vendors at Hotel Krat by finding the supply boxes and turning them in. One vendor sells two weapons when its fully upgraded the other sells the rusty cryptic vessel that unlocks Hermit's cave where there is a weapon located.

You can check your inventory to see which weapons you are missing.

So to confirm - the only misable bit is the starting weapons? Once you have those the rest is not missable?

I got the achievement before getting the Exploding Pickaxe, but I got it in another save file.

Thanks, I was missing the shovel - which I did see earlier but had no money at the time... then I forgot to go back and buy it.

I got this achievement by starting a new game quickly and buying the one starting weapon I was missing.

I assume if you disassemble weapons they still count.

Last one I was missing was the blind man's double sided spear. Note if you transport to cathedral library stargazer then take the elevator down, it's way easier than climbing all the way up!

The only one I was missing was Blind Man's Double Sided Spear, every other weapon comes naturally

If the achievement is not popping for you, exit to the main menu, that worked for me. I had all the weapons on NG excepto for 2 starters, bought them on NG+ and exited to the main menu after defeating the Parade Master.

If anyone wants the explicit "point of no return"(minor spoilers) for the starting vendor, it seems to be when you defeat the Green Monster.

@shummell if you're still checking the guide id suggest adding it so anyone wanting an exact timeframe for the achievement can have it.

If the achievement is not popping for you, exit to the main menu, that worked for me. I had all the weapons on NG excepto for 2 starters, bought them on NG+ and exited to the main menu after defeating the Parade Master.

There are two weapons that are easy to miss:
The first is in a room with large wooden gears. After we have thrown the fire into the oil, we jump onto the wooden gear with square protrusions and it will take us to the platform with the spear.
The second is obtained with the help of test subject 826. He is in the abbey after you get to the Stargazer, go up a little and then go down to the elevator. In this room there is a door to Harlequin and little Victor jumps out from behind the wall. After we killed him, we go to where he jumped out from and meet the guy. After defeating Laskasia, he will move to the bridge on Rosa Isabela Street and become a merchant. Further, I think it’s clear)

Accidentally missed two basic weapons. After certain events, the starting location with the merchant becomes inaccessible. So either we don’t forget to buy it right away in the first half of the game, or we buy more on NG+, the process with the weapons we received earlier is preserved.

The Crystal Carcass Ax can be obtained no earlier than on NG+. It will be sold by Subject 826.

Tonik_Exclusive's hint is not correct. 12/02/23, I bought this ax from Subject 826 on my first playthrough. This trophy is easily done on my first playthrough.

Missable Weapon - Blind Man's Double-Sided Spear .
It will be easier if you go back through the elevator from the Stargazer Library of the Cathedral of St. Frangelico to the gears of the cathedral.
