Normal weapons can be upgraded up to level 10. This feature becomes available when you reach Hotel Krat and upon speaking to Eugénie. Each level requires a certain amount of Ergo, Moonstones, and special materials for some blades.
Mostly every material can be bought in Hotel Krat from Polendina after expanding his shop via the Sturdy Krat Supply Box. First opportunity to obtain Full moonstone as reward is after defeating Corrupted Parade Master main boss.
