How to unlock the The Story of One Father achievement in Lies of P - Definitive Guide

After beating the "final" boss Simon Manus in Chapter 11, you will meet with Geppetto. He wants you to give him your heart, and you have two choices, "refuse" or "Give the Heart". To get this ending you must give Geppetto your heart. This will give you the "Real Boy" ending. Your choices of telling the truth or lies throughout the game do not matter for this ending, and will only take effect if you refuse to give your heart.

Do NOT go into New Game Plus after the credits, choose not to restart, and you will return back in Hotel Krat. Go upstairs to Geppetto's office and read the note on his desk.

You need to read Geppetto's letter placed at his desk in Hotel Krat after 'Real Boy' ending for this achievement.

To get the 'Real Boy' Ending you need to give your heart to Geppetto when he asks for it. (there is no need for any humanity for this ending.)

After the cutscene cancel the option to go to New Game plus and you will be back at Hotel Krat and all the humans are now replaced with Puppets. Make your way to Geppetto's desk and letter.

**MISSABLE**

In order to unlock this achievement, you need to choose to give Gepetto the heart at the end of the game. When you get to the Under The Abyss stargazer, talk to Gepetto, and you will have the option to give him a heart or to refuse. Choose to give it to him, and you will unlock the Real Boy Ending (see Real boy : They all lived happily ever after (70G)).

Now, you need to not start a New Game+, and instead head back to Hotel Krat. In Gepetto’s study, on his desk, you will find a letter. Read it and you will unlock the achievement.

The trophy can be missed if you refused to give Geppetto's heart at the end of the game.
We agree to give our hearts. We get the Real Boy ending. After the credits DO NOT launch NG+. We return to the Krat Hotel, go into Geppetto’s office on the first floor and take the letter from the table. Read it through the item menu and get the trophy.
