Missable - Very Important: After you kill the main boss Champion Victor turn his rare ergo in for the Frozen Feast Weapon. If you use the ergo for XP or the amulet you can not finish the mechanical vessel

There are 6 Cryptic Vessels but only 5 count for the achievement.

When you find a vessel bring it to Venigni in Hotel Krat and he will give you a a hint to the treasure.



Crafted Cryptic Vessel - Found in St. Frangelico Cathedral when you are going through some wooden platforming. When you get to the top you can push a giant pot of fire to the bottom clearing the tar and revealing a secret path.
Solution: - Go to Elsyion bridge where you fought your first stalker. Throw an object at the body hanging from the bridge. A second clue will drop. Go to the house at Elsyion Boulevard walk onto the balcony and its the first door on the right.

Jeweled Cryptic Vessel - Found in Estella Opera House, down a long hallway with enemies. At the end there is a ladder you can climb down. Instead climb the smaller ladder up in the same room to find the chest.
Solution - Go to the spot shown on the clue and use the "check ground" emote.

Old Cryptic Vessel - After the green monster boss fast travel Barren Swamp Bridge and talk to Hugo. He will give it to you.
Solution - Go to the Path of the pilgrim and go to the house shown in the clue. Talk to the man outside he will give you a key to go in the secret house.

Rusty Cryptic Vessel - Sold from the Butler at Hotel Krat behind the desk. You have to have the shop fully upgraded for it to show up.
Solution - Fast travel to Barren Swamp Bridge where you met Hugo. The path is now open. Go to the end of the cave for the treasure. Come prepared A LOT of tough enemies.

Mechanical Cryptic Vessel - Found late in the story at Arche Abbey Broken Rift in a chest not far off the main path.
Solution - Fast travel to the abandoned apartment go out the upper balcony and use the photo to find the vendor. The vendor will not talk to you unless you have the Frozen Feast weapon equipped.

You need to solve 5 cryptic vessel out of six for this achievement. The 6th is Alidoro's cryptic vessel which is just for Eugenie's quest.

Cryptic vessels can be decrypted for a clue with Venigni and solving these cryptic vessel will give you in-game rewards including Quartz and costume.

Now for the last 'Mechanical Cryptic Vessel' you need to buy 'Frozen Frost' special weapon from Alidoro in exchange of 'Victor The Champion' Boss Ergo. You have to equip this weapon before interacting with a secret vendor in Collapsed Krat area.

(Note: I bought the Amulet and not the weapon so I completed this Cryptic vessel in NG+. I found the Amulet to be very useful in NG+ and I never had any use for the weapon since I was playing with Technique build. but you can watch the location and solution and complete this in your first playthrough.)

Put my video guide in alongside the rest, but here's the rundown:

Crafted Cryptic Vessel

• St Frangelico cathedral chapel stargazer, knock over the flaming brazier at the top of the tower to reveal a staircase downwards, open the chest get the cryptic vessel

• Go to the House on Elysion Boulevard, throw something at the puppet hanging on the bridge, then go back to the House on Elysion Boulevard, leave the normal way and find the door with a light above it

Jeweled Cryptic Vessel

• Estella Opera House stargazer, drop down in the swinging chandelier area, and then explore the right side of the building till you find a room with a ladder going down. turn around to the door to see a ladder going up, and find it in a treasure chest in there

• Teleport back to Cerasani Alley, backtrack to where you fought the puppet with the fury attack, and you should find the spot in the picture

• Use the gesture "Check Ground" and then you complete it

Old Cryptic Vessel

• Barren Swamp bridge stargazer, talk to Hugo enough and he'll give you the cryptic vessel

• Teleport to the path of the pilgrim and just past the miniboss area, you'll find a guy hanging out. He'll give you the key to the shed just as you walked in

• Either go through the trap, or avoid it to get the treasure

Rusty Cryptic Vessel

• After the earthquake, at the Collapsed Street Stargazer, after all the alchemist guys, instead of scaling the room of a building, drop down to find a chest with the Special Krat Supply Box

• Take the box back to Polendina and buy the cryptic vessel from him

• Go back to the barren swamp bridge, and now the gate beside hugo is open. Enjoy exploring!

Alidoro's Cryptic Vessel

• Just after the black rabbit brotherhood part 2 fight, find alidoro just after the arena. When presented with the choice, strike him down to get his cryptic vessel

• Talk to Eugenie after venigni decyphers it, the choice is yours for 1 of 2 records

Mechanical Cryptic Vessel

• Arche Abbey Broken Rift stargazer, when you get to an elevated platform find the treasure chest moving beyond where the puppet mini boss is (this is hard to explain, might be best to watch the video)

• Make sure to have bought the Frozen Feast Weapon from alidoro, which you used Champion Victor's ergo to get

• Travel to the abandoned apaprtment stargazer, and then after you cross the street, in the backalley there's some stairs, take it up to a merchant, equip the frozen feast and you're balling.
