How to unlock the Checking in on Diane achievement in Lightyear Frontier - Definitive Guide

To unlock this achievement you are required to talk to Diane on 5 different days.
To get access to Diane you need to first find an egg around the map. I found mine down in Stepstone Peak. Once you have found an egg it will prompt a chat from Diane asking you to build an Outpost for her. To build the outpost you will need 4 Aluminum frames and 2 Aluminum electronics.
Once built, select the outpost and choose Diane if you have already unlocked Ulf. Once she arrives she will ask you help build a fence for her out of hard wood. Now I did already built this fence before starting the next 4 chats so I'm not sure if it matters or not. I'm assuming she will still speak to you if you haven't got the resources.
But you basically have to speak to her once a day, five times.
Achievement tracking was working fine for this achievement.
I was playing normally so you may be able to sleep and skip time to progress this achievement quicker.
Co-op progression is NOT shared on this achievement so if you are playing with others you will have speak to her individually.

Are the eggs located near nests? Or just anywhere randomly?

I'll be honest up until this point I had collected about 15 eggs and they we're from randomly running around the map. They glow at night as well.Anyway as I seen your question I jumped on to see if I could provide a proper answer but I was able to find one egg in southern part of the map. It was a Crobling Egg and it was actually very close to a nest.
