The Noxious slime is glowing, pulsating dark pink/purple substance that is located all over the map. You will first come across it when getting the Irrigation Hose (Water pistol) during the tutorial.
You are required to remove these slimes and weeds to unlock areas of the map.
You remove it by shooting water from your Irrigation hose onto it until it gets smaller and eventually disappears. Collect water from any water source using your hoover tool.
This achievement can be obtained across multiple playthroughs as it unlocked on my second save. Achievement tracking was working fine when I was going for this achievement.
There is also an achievement for removing 50 and 150 slimes.
