How to unlock the Fourth King Dethroned achievement in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name - Definitive Guide

This achievement is unlocked after you beat the last of the Four Kings, Kiyoshi Ugajin.

The key takeaways are that it is a one-on-one fight (like with Samejima) and the best part, is that he is probably the easiest to beat of all the Kings. No gigantic HP sponge like Dan, not overly defensive like Samejima, and no cheap laser beam manuvers like Justice. That said, don't necessarily assume you should let your guard down, as he does have some gadget related tricks up his sleeve, but nothing extraordinary. Just mix in some offense (short rush combos) and some finesse defense (roll away with cn_A) if you're fighting with your stats at less than before Kiwami status. If you've maxed out those stats however, you can just cheese it all up like before. Just smoke in the Coliseum Reception till you fill up your heat gauge, switch to Yakuza style upon starting battle, and just pound away on Ugajin with cn_X after entering Extreme Heat (with cn_RT) After you've defeated him, you'll be rewarded with some nice cutscenes as you're now the new King of the Castle! (The achievement should pop on screen after the cutscenes are finished.)

Giving you a thumbs up for the detail. But after the third king battle, this one is basically a freebie achievement.

That's great to hear. I just wasn't sure exactly how easy Ugajin was, but considering the higher difficulties of the other three Kings, this was a very welcome change!

The fourth and final King is Kiyoshi Ugajin, he of tree trunk arms and veiny forehead. After the stupid fight with JUSTICE and his cohorts, this should seem like a breezy walk in the park. The difference here is that you have no team to rely on, as it’s a one-on-one fight between Ugajin and Joryu. But, if you’ve maxed your abilities, damage dealing, and health (rinsing and repeating Platinum-level Coliseum fights will see you rolling in tens of millions of yen), then you should find the to be a very straightforward battle.

Whenever Ugajin charges up his Heat ability, however, be ready with an Ultimate Counter - fail to parry the attack, and you’ll lose a massive chunk of health; counter it, and you’ll eat into a big chunk of Ugajin’s health bar. The Yakuza fighting style is powerful, and should stand you in good stead here.
