Simply play ten songs in the versus mode where you can battle it out against another singer.I have talked with freinds about this and they say that songs on the disc can be used or downloaded song can also be used but some where having trouble unlocking it with songs ripped from CD's to your storage device.

Similar to the “Platinum Artist” Achievement. Sing 10 different songs in VS mode. Be sure that the game mode is VS and not Co-op.
This achievement appears to be glitched for some. You have to go down to the score attack mode if it doesn't work for you in normal VS Mode.
