How to unlock the Clap Your Hands Everybody achievement in Lips - Definitive Guide
Do the Ramones song and both shake your mics as fast as possible - The light between the two scores at the top should start glowing - keep it going as it grows brigter and bigger and then eventually - DING achievement.
Should be possible on any song, just happens thats what song I did it on.

Use the bumber buttons instead, much faster and you don't have do hurt your wrist shaking those mics.

I found that using the controllers were easier to do this with because the microphones didn't always register a clap, just tap the button on the controller (In my case it was B) that makes the clap noise. Do this at to the beat on the song on both controllers at the same time on just about any song. I did it on The Ramones - I Wanna Be Sedated because it's timing is very easy to pick up on. Very easy 25G

Best solution by far!

The solution above is very good, if you have the original Lips and can play the song he mentioned.
But if you have "Lips: No. 1 Hits" like me and my friend, you may find it difficult to find an easy song for this chevoo.
I highly recommend the song "Roy Orbison - Oh, Pretty Woman".
There is a long section of noise at the beginning of the song, so take your 2 mics and play a co-op game. The long section of "noise" should help you to get your motion in sync.
The achievement should unlock in the first 40 seconds of doing this, otherwise restart and try again!

To get this you have to keep a good constant rhythm on the Noise Maker that goes with the song. For this, you can just relax whilst singing and tapping . You have to do this at the same constant rhythm. If you are having trouble finding the tempo, try listening out for the bass or snare drum in a song and tap away with that. This achievement will unlock during the song.
You need the following:
Lips (original)
1 microphone
Steps:
1. Load up "Take on Me"
2. Right at the start of the music before the singing starts pretend to rapidly hit a highhat in time with the music.
3. Watch the glowing dot/star at the top of the screen grow.
4. Enjoy the achievement popping!
I got this accidentally at the start of "Take on Me". I was just playing "air drums" trying to boost the "overdrive" meter. The mic was in my "highhat" hand.
