Just sing 40 different songs. Downloadable also counts toward this achievement. The Disk has 40 songs so you can just sing them if you like

Also easier if youve already got the one for putting 300 of your own songs on, because then you are less likely to play a song twice.

I just rated every song after I sang so I knew which ones I had done.

Hmmm.. I just went through the original 40 songs, and didn't get the achievement. I went to the stats and apparently I have only sung 14 songs. I'm guessing that's how many FULL songs I've completed. Damn . . .

Does it have to be solo? I did a few duets and I don't know if that effects the count.

Sing 40 different songs (not 40 songs total they all have to be a different song). An easy way of knowing what you have done is by either starting left to right until you receive the achievement or by going to my lips and on the first blade it will say now many unique songs you have sung.
