How to unlock the Superstar! achievement in Lips - Definitive Guide

I found it easier to gain stars on the custom songs I added. If you sing along to the instrumental parts, it also lets you build up star power and gain stars. On a five minute Epica song I gained 700 stars per microphone, so 1400 for a song. Still a lot of work though.

I totaly agree with this. I put Westlife's 'Flying Without Wings' on there and managed to get 950 per microphone. I only tried this once but I think it's the method I will use when I grind out the last of the stars.

I've been playing lips for nearly a year and still haven't gotten this achievements. There is a way mentioned on the 200,000 achievement where you get a microphone thats attached by USB and leave the microphone next to speakers on a custom song so you don't need to shake. But even this way becomes a pain when you don't have a modded controller and you have to keep selecting the song to play every couple of minutes.

Right now im on nearly 80,000 stars and I found by singing the song 'Big Girls Don't Cry' by Fergie I get 550 stars. So to get this achievement I have to sing that song about 40 more times. My suggestion is to just find a song that you get the most stars on then work out how many times you have to sing it to get the achievement. Then just decide you'll sing that song like 6 times a day and you'll eventually get the achievement.

This one involves you just singing songs and to use the star power you earn along the way. When star power is activated, you will see the stars increase on the left hand side of the screen. After the star power has run out, you can see your total in the top left of lyrics bar. A way of building up your star power quicker is to use the microphone as a tambourine by tapping it on your hand or shaking it about. At the end of the song, it will tell you how many stars you've gained.

To get this quicker, you need to get a higher accuracy on each song while in the star power mode. You can see how many stars you have received by going to the My Lips section and on the first blade, the top stat will be a number with a little log of a star, the number is your total stars.
