How to unlock the Technician achievement in Lips - Definitive Guide

You'll need to get a few Vibrato Bonuses during a song to get awarded this medal which basically means changing the pitch of your voice up and down whilst holding a long note. Try shifting up and down an octave quickly when you're singing a long note and you should get 'Vibrato Bonus' appear above the words. You'll need to be awarded this medal 30 times to get the achievement. You can speed the process up a bit by playing 'Vs' and singing in to 2 mics at once.

Any really although I remember it coming up a lot on the Leona Lewis track 'Bleeding Love'. I found it easier to get on long notes but I also managed to get the medal on Bust A Move so it can't all be down to vibrato.

I'm not sure what I did to get this medal Spilner on Bust A Move but I did get all the medals quite frequently while I was grinding for the medals achievement but if you say you're getting the other 5 and not this one I'm not sure what I did differently. Are you using your 'star power/overdrive' regularly to maximise your star count? That's all I can think of.

By the way, the medals do not add up from the 'original lips' and the 'lips number 1 hits'.
but they do from the 'number 1 hits' and the '80's' and 'party classics'
so if u are like me and change disc for different songs, for this achievement dont sing from the original disc.

If you have it downloaded, "Fallin'" by Alicia Keys is a good one for this, I just got a tech medal for it. I don't know how others might handle this, but I've been a semi-pro chorister for a decade and this is the hardest medal for me to consistently achieve, simply because I've been taught to do the opposite of using vibrato all the time. *laughs*

The best song I found for earning the Vibrato medals is Unchained Melody on the Party Classics disc, if you have it. It has a lot of long sustained notes that are fantastic for working on your vibrato.

Perfect. I got one within a few seconds of singing, a bit of a rinse and repeat I'm afraid, but flawless no less.

Was able to get a technique medal in the first verse of Rapture by Blondie in duet. For me its the hardest medal to get.

ok i gotta pretty much the sure way to get this on almost every song, 1st you gottta clear your system cache and play this game offline. also if you want a time stamp for this one just get up to 29 medals and play on song online i think yip gloss is easiest during the non talkie section. now pick just about any song really and put your mic(s) to the tv speaker turn mic volume on both all the way down. it should hit vibrant almost every time for ever song. the reason i said pick any song so you can combine this with 100 or 200,000 stars, also each song has a standard star count i do not know the limit but i think its around 10-20,000. i used i regularly non hd tv volume turned most the way down with 2 lips mics. i basic just listen to good music through headphones while these mediocre ones played message or comment if you need any further help
