How to unlock the What's Cooler Than Being Cool? achievement in Lips - Definitive Guide

To get this achievement, you have to get a rating of "Cool" on each phrase. This means you'll have to hit basically 100% of the notes.
If you know a song essentially you can hum the tune into the mic, however since there's a rap song on disc being "Bust a move" by Young MC you can easily get this by just making sure sound is going into the mic at every note which can be done by using a fan with your mic.
Just remember to turn down your mic volume to 0 just so that you don't hear yourself( at least that's what I do) or the humming of the fan through the speakers.
Also, it will say "COOL" on the right side if you've hit enough of the notes to get the rating. If it says anything else then you didn't get it. It'll be in a lite sky blue or teal color.
You'll get your achievement to pop at the stats screen., once you finish the song after getting a cool rating on every page.

select a song like ice vanilla or something with hip hop or rap and put the mic on the tv speakers also low the mic volume and select Duo that's it

If you can’t do that and really need this achievement, it is possible to basically not sing it. This is done by turning the volume on the Microphone down to 0 (done by holding down
). Once it is down to 0, you hold your microphone up to the TV speaker. Try to choose a song that has a pretty easy tone so the singing is easy to pick up. Watch the top right of the bar to see if you are getting "Cool". If you aren’t either restart or chose a different song. This achievement pops up on the stats screen.

For those who were having trouble with the fan method, I was able to unlock the achievement with one microphone playing co-op on Bust a Move. Half of the song goes to your co-op partner, who you don't even need a mic for. Just let them get 0 points, as long as you get all cool on your parts of the song, you will unlock the achievement.
