When you finish a level, return to the lobby instead of continuing to the next mission. You'll see your character and be able to change Weapons and Functions. In the bottom middle of the screen is Firmware. Move the cursor to that, hit A, and then change your Helmet, Alloy and Cape by selecting up/down, and the achievement will pop.
Nozza
Helmets, Capes and Alloys are random drops from any upgraded enemy that you kill or by opening chests. There is no guarantee on which one you'll get. Once one does drop, located by an orange looking item on the floor, you can simply equip your new item in the lobby area just before you start the level.
Look down to the bottom of this page and there will be a 'Firmware' box. Select this and if you have one of the three items, they'll be a arrow pointing down for you to scroll through. Simply scroll down to your newly obtained item to attach it. Now find another two and do the same to unlock all three achievements.
