Can't you avoid the falling building in Chapter 2 by going left instead of right at the branch? That's how I originally passed that level, before later going back for the medal racer achievement. If so, that should help make it more do-able...

Manual aim for the baseball part, i found with auto aim on it would snap to a zombie miles away from nick and not the one who was about to take a swing at him grrrrrrrrrrrr :(

Do we have to do score, time, AND medal attack for a stage or just one of them?

You only need to do one of them. I just did Score Attack for all of them.

I found the stages with late in the stage instant death parts the most annoying (after completing the Gondola game without shooting I didn't find Stage 4 to be any kind of problem, since you can shoot, as long as you're not aggressive it's no issue at all as you should know the patterns).

A few other tips, beat Dad's score on Stage 2 and Stage 3 on a different play through (there's infinite score mechanisms on stage 2 and with the great Sparkle Hunting portion near the end of 3 it's hard not to kick your Dad's butt on the first play through), this allows you to rush through with your favorite combo (A, A, X makes short work of most zombies on Normal, B, A will stab powerful ground zombies if you accidentally chop off their legs with it, A, X, X, X for big groups of weak ground zombies). Actually you can pretty much beat the game with those three.

Baseball game should be done on manual aim (as other posters have pointed out), only shoot zombies close to Nick and the Pitcher (he hits hard, know the timing of his spawn). Careful about grabbing ammo as you can, if there's four zombies almost on Nick and you have 2 shots left you're screwed.

Stage 3 should be mostly done with auto aim on (shooting zombies off of the bus and tractors is way easier). The only place you're likely to lose on Normal is the part where exploding zombies are running at the bus. Be calm, if you don't know the spawn order, watch them on Youtube (you need to grab ammo right before the fast zombies spawn and make it count, because you'll need 3-6 shots to take out the tractors immediately after, if you're out I don't know what happens, but it might mean a restart). Switch to manual aim when you jump off the bridge into the river path (right after the pole dancing section), this will allow you to shoot the red barrels instead of snapping to the zombies, you can stay on manual through the end (I find the Mariska fight far easier on manual).

Lastly, screw survivors, you can skip some of them and let others die. If there's exploding barrels in an area use Chainsaw Blaster to take them out before entering (Stage 5 survivor will die to these and not spawn as a strong zombie). There's nothing worse than hitting some barrels and insta-dying near the end of a stage. Ask me how I know.

Finally the bird mascot (in place of the store) can blow if you're already in a bad spot. Just auto lock with LB and leap frog, Y, sometimes you miss, but he's big enough you'll usually hit. It takes about 9 hits to kill him with this and it's nearly impossible to get hit.

I don't find Basketball hard as you can always use your super power (RT, whatever it's called). When the guard is the big guy you can Leap (B), X, don't Leap Frog, you should know how to do this from your JULIET51 achievement, if you're missing the dude you need to use your left thumbstick to direct the kick. After you stun or decap the guard, move everyone out to 3 point range and score a ton of points.

Went through a hard mode run for the collectibles. If I do ranking now, would I be forced to play on very hard? Or could I simply switch difficulty in the main menu to easy and then do ranking?

Yeah, if you back out to the main menu and select Easy, it will put you on Normal when you play Ranking Mode.

Strange glitch on stage one, only happening in rank mode. Early on you'll get to a hallway and need to kill 8 zombies. Only 7 appear and I've been stuck having to restart twice. Will try powering off and starting over. Anyone had this problem?

In response to Ginuwine AI3, I had the same issue, I was trying to speed through the level & passed up the chicken that's in place of the Chop 2 Shop... I ran back & killed him. He counts as the eighth.

At this point, I've done Stages 1,2,6 and the prologue in ranked mode, surpassing Dad's score(normal difficulty).
However, I'm not showing up on the world leaderboard at all. Before you ask: Yes; I did save my ranking.

I should get the last few stages in the next day or two, depending on Uni, and I'll see what happens but I'm a little concerned the achievement won't work and I'll be stuck at 985 for this game.

None of my scores showed up on the world leaderboard but they were all present on the friends leaderboard. Not quite sure how this works exactly but screw it, got the cheeve; got the 1000. I'm happy.

Which ranking mode is the easiest/fastest to go through?

Aaargh,this is glitching on me,it keeps failing to track my score on stage 3. I'm getting fed up with this!!

Heads up on the chickens, a drop kick makes them dizzy and then its a one hit kill, otherwise, they take way too much damage to kill.

I am having trouble with Stage 1 on Hard. I always mess up at the exploding birthday cake. I advise anyone to not try to do the "Beat Dad's score" on this Stage while in Ranking Mode. It's quite annoying cause it's pretty far into the level.

This achievement is frustrating, having to do everything right while trying to beat dad's score and doing this is just ugh.

All stages done. The baseball game was by far the hardest part for me.

For the stage 2 baseball minigame, make sure to take out the Pitchers first (they spawn in the middle and they throw balls at the guy you're protecting). The Pitcher spawn every 10 seconds or so, after taking them out then focus on the guys with bats and cheerleaders.

I manged to do it with auto-aim but some say that manual is easier, so if you keep failing might as well try that too.

Leaderboards seem to be down. Perhaps it's now unattainable.

yeah its due to halo infinites release a bunch of games with leaderboards on the 360 are down rn it should be fixed in a couple weeks hopefully

Good news everyone! They fixed it. Now it's working again :)

Awesome the other games with leaderboard issues are fixed also and its something with so many people playing xbox around the same time which coincides with infinite release that it broke the true skill leaderboards

Anyone have any tips on how to get this? I can’t access the leaderboards at all - keep getting the ‘Failed to access Leaderboard data’ error. I see that others have got this recently so assume the servers are sketchy at best - is there maybe a best time of day to get onto the servers to get this?

Edit: more convinced now that the servers are gone. Tried multiple 360’s; wired/wifi connections; port forwarding - everything I could do from my side, and nothing. 30 minutes ‘writing data’ and nothing but errors. Happy to be corrected but good luck to anyone whos going to attempt to get this now

It's unlockable, you may just have to redo a level or two. Older leaderboard entries didn't count for me so try to do all levels as quick as you can without waiting too long between.

I suggest just using the Butt move (Hold X then release) Locking a zombie and just using this technique will one hit everything while they are stunned.

Killabilly right at the end where you have to mash B it fails every ****ING time! Even in story mode it always failed the 1st time then worked the 2nd time. Glitchy piece of crap. Now there's no continues the bastard keeps squashing the bitch.

I believe there is a fix for the issue some people are having with registering to the leaderboards. I had just finished playing all 7 stages on the ranked game mode and confirmed that I had a score for every stage but the achievement still had not popped. So I decided to play the prologue again, I had previously completed all the stages on "Score Attack" however this time I chose "Time Attack". I figured the game would know how to sort itself out. So after the mission was done I got the achievement. My advice is that if you know for sure you've done all the stages correctly in ranked mode but the achievement has not been awarded, try re-doing the first stage on a different ranked mode to the previous ones. Hope this helps!

Stage 1 was really annoying for me. Late on when you're having to keep the flaming zombies away from the cake. On the last group of guys when you get the star, I'd activate star mode (can't remember the proper name) then go around insta-killing them, but somehow despite them not getting past the green line on the floor, a good few metres from the cake, the cake would ignite, failing the mission and costing me 20 mins. Happened twice. I can only presume the heads of the flaming zombies were flying off and landing on the cake somehow, which would be incredibly stupid but either way super annoying!

Also little tip for anyone who doesn't know, the butt bounce ability (buy it from the shop) is able to stun all mini boss' (minus the zombie chickens in stage 3), and health bar zombies, to allow you to quickly one hit kill them. Works on those chickens that replace the shops in ranking mode too. Very handy.
