How to unlock the Life Guard achievement in Lollipop Chainsaw - Definitive Guide

This achievement is obtained by saving three teenagers being attacked by the zombies.

The first one is laying on the ground. Kill the zombies in the area and without them killing him to rescue him.

The second one is on top of a van. Kill the multitude of zombies to have her rescued.

The third and final teenager to save is the most difficult for the achievement and he's up a light pole. He will eventually walk towards the barricade where the flight for life helicopter will come. You have to kill not one, not two, but four waves of zombies to lead the person to safety. Just beware the sudden QTE involving a car coming up midway through rescuing the third person.

Once all three people are rescued, the achievement will unlock.

For the record, if any of the teenagers get killed by the packs of zombie, he/she will become a zombie themselves and you'll have to put him/her down to continue the storyline.

There are three teenagers that need to be saved for this achievement, and they're all in the prologue. Each of them will have an SOS comic-style bubble over their head, and they will each be pointed out to you as you progress. It is extremely hard to, and very unlikely, that you'll miss them.

The first two are easy, simply kill the zombies that come out until the cooler can rescue them (it only comes after you finish killing the zombies in the area). For the last one, it's broken up into three sections.

First section, kill the zombies until he gets off the pole, then kill some more. Break through the gate, and you'll get another hoard of zombies to kill. I recommend saving your Star Soul Mode (right trigger when the sparkling meter on the bottom left of the screen is full) until after you break through the gate, it makes this second part 100x easier and you can get a bunch of Sparkle Hunting combos at this point. Just keep an eye on his health, if you don't do this part right he'll most likely turn into the zombie. After you finish this wave, avoid the truck, then finish off the last set of zombies.

If you fail to save one of the survivors and realize it right away, fret not! In that case, you're welcome to restart from the last checkpoint to try saving them again, without losing the achievement. Just know that restarting takes points off your final score.

Happy survivor hunting!

There are only 3 classmates in Prologue.

The first two classmates can’t be hurt or missed as you can’t advance the story until you've saved them. The third one on the other hand will be susceptible to zombie attacks after you've earned his first batch of medals as thanks for rescuing him from the initial wave of zombies. You will have to protect him for several more waves after this as he makes his way towards the school bus. He seems to have a high enough defense to sustain damage, but don’t leave him alone for a prolonged period of time or zombies may gang up on him. Not only will that cause you to lose your chance to earn this trophy, but he will also turn into a stronger zombie for you to deal with. If that happens, simply restart. If you accidentally quit, return to the Title Screen and choose to continue from your last checkpoint.

If you managed to protect last classmate, you will get this trophy during the cutscene with the helicopter.

Please refer to "San Romero Knights Savior" trophy for additional info.
