You think 44 is bad...? I have over 500 and I still can't beat it. I've watched several videos. I don't understand how everyone that makes these video has barely any bombs dropped on them. I get a barrage of 3-4 in a row from each blue dude. And I never get a break for more than 1 square.

I had 3 or 4 of them come in at a row, I just waited and advanced slowly. There are safe parts that you can get to and wait some more until its clear. The first half is easily passable. Always plot your next move prior, that's just what I did.

I finally got it and I think I figured out the problem. I was playing on Easy(for achievements). 500+ tries on easy and I couldn't get it. I switched to normal, beat it on my 2nd try.
Not sure if or why that would hinder this mini-game, but for me I guess it did. So if you're having a problem, try switching the difficulty, lol.

Kiplerr may be on to something. I finally mastered this damn Achievement. I usually go for it on my Hard playthrough, since I'm going for Dad's scores on my Easy, and this Achievement will destroy your score. Now that you mention it, it may be easier to do, on Hard, haha.

FML!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i got all the way to the end and slipped on the crontroller and pressed Y...and after 7 hours lol

I did notice a few inconsistencies with it though, where you would sometimes find that there were a tone of bombs coming down at you and you could literally move nowhere.

77 retries! But I got it! This achievement is outrageous. Wish it was as simple as you made it look in this video. Lol

This achievement is very annoying. Took me about 30 retries. There are really only two sections that are rage-inducing:

1) After the first blue cow-speaker when you have to move up the right-hand side with the two bombers in the windows above and
2) The final tower ascent, with multiple ascents along a locked path with a bomber above.

The problem is not that it is hard, but that it is so luck based. Bomb patterns are not very predictable and if two bombers beside each other drop at the same time (as happens often at point 1 above) and you are trying to move up, you are screwed.

Glad I'm done, but I predict many rage-quits in this achievement's future.

I got it in 8 tries. There's a bit of luck involved but all you need to do is move in such a way that you're prepared for the zombies to throw something at you at any second (ie. keep as much space beside you as possible, move backwards if necessary, etc)

Still havent got this yet, retry number .... lost count.

In the beginning I could easily get past the 1st cow section, after that they got me more often than not, or started dropping bombs at the same time, my tip for that section is once you see a gap be aggressive and don be afraid to move back and forth move up when you get a chance.

Tried 10+ times last night to no avail. I could perfect a section after a few attempts, only to die in the next section because I wasn't sure what to expect. In the end I decided to shoot my way up to find out where they will be throwing stuff. Then I went to bed. This morning, fresh from a good sleep, I attempted it again based on last night's memory, and got it first try.

reporting back after getting 100% in the game , this was my last achievement. All out aggression was what got this for me in the end.. with a pinch of caution. I kept moving u,p back and to the sides when I needed to, once you know the level you know what to expect , just you cannot predict the pattern in which they drop stuff wait and see if they drop 2 or even 3 things at once if not keep moving up and weaving.

All I can say is stick at it and and go for it it will come. Has to be the most rewarding and most frustrating achievement I've done in a while.

F yeah, it took me less than 10 minutes to get this achievement.

I haven't spent this much time on an achievement in awhile. So annoying.

what an absolutely joy-killing achievement. adds nothing to the experience except rage.

I don't know which one was worse.. this or Rage's Just a Flesh Wound achievement. This took me 3 hours. It's amazing I finished either of these with a hair left on my head & a controller that still works.

I really like that Human League song til I heard over a 100 times. This achievement sucked ass. Glad I finally got it.

Been at this for a while now... Glad im not the only one that has had trouble with it.

The last window right before the goal knocked me off WTF.

10 tries for me - should have been fewer. I did it on normal. Drop patterns were only unplayable once. Otherwise it was my incompetence!!

I finally got this today with 38 tries playing on Easy.

Well Im chalking this one up as impossible

I also did over 40 continues getting this achievement. At first I was very cautious, but found that this took too much psychological energy and led to me getting very frustrated and angry. Once I started making more risky moves, some careless mistakes, and muting the game so I could listen to music, I completed it within a few minutes. I know this isn't the typical gaming tip and it may not work for everyone, but I think that mindset can be just as important as skill sometimes. Good luck!

This is one of the worst achievements I have had to endure in a long time. In a game that is dependent mostly on skill, having an achievement based solely on luck is incredibly infuriating. Being trapped with a wall of plant pots falling towards you is inexcusable design. If they were going to do this, they should have had patterns you had to memorise, or several that rotate, so at least it would be fair. What a terrible, terrible achievement.

I've done a lot of annoying achievements in my time on Xbox, this was the most annoying for a LONG time. Thanks for the vid!

Wow. That was irritating. But, it's done now. Took me a little over an hour. My suggestion, take your time with the whole bombs thing. Oh! And mute.

3 hours. Fml. I made it through donnie darko and half of the shining on xbmc in the meantime.

This is one of this annoying achievements an you get only 15GS for doing it (it should be worth at least 100)

Why am I such an achievement fool? I'm not close to people from top 100 (I mean players with biggest GS). And I'm a strange mix of casual and hardcore gamer. I don't have to play this stupid game ever again...

There is some RNG involved, but a lot of the obstacles can be baited. Hardest part is the 3 random columns at the end. Took me maybe a dozen tries. Take it slow.

For some reason doing this on normal instead of easy made it a lot easier to get. If you keep failing on easy try playing on normal and see if you could get it then

This achievement sucked. Took me just over an hour I think with constant retries. Thanks for the video, did give me a few tips and tricks on how to do it successfully in the end. This game has too many stage specific achievements! Could be worse though. At least the worst one is out of the way!

Once you get past the speaker looking things that go left to right, there is a larger speaker that falls down. Stay all the way right on that. Once past that there is a small obstacle and a larger one next to it. A blue thing eventually throws something. You can find a safe part on the left and trigger those obstacles and let them pass. The part after that near the end is a most irritating part. I got to that part twice and kinda lucked out. Hope this helps anyone attempting this.

might be worth noting that after avoiding all those plant pots, that right at the end the windows open .... made it through and window bumped me off. sad times.

The difficulty for this is blown out of proportion imo. There’s RNG like chucklestyle said but unless i just had solid luck: it seems like you won’t end up in “checkmate” scenarios where you can’t do anything but die too often (that being said: it will likely happen when going for this achievement). Took me about 15 minutes to get this.

Also do some runs to learn the controls, they’re very tanky and when you move you essentially commit to that zone for a split second due to the sluggish movement

Whoever made this game should be ashamed of themselves. This entire game is a fucking joke. Im not saying this game is hard, but this one achievement is so luck based and stupid i cant even believe it. One of those games you dont even want to play start to finish 1000gs because it gets so repetative and stupid after a single day of playing. Only slightly shittier than the 360 version of diablo 3. "Oh you have every achievement and have amassed 1million gold 975 gs eh? Well get ready to play the same fucking levels over and over again to amass another 4 million!!" Annoying replay value. The cinematics and dialogue is like having a 40-50 year old man sitting in the room cracking wise at everything with an innuendo because god forbid anything is funny without a sexual reference. Complete waste of 10 dollars that i spent 3 years ago and have only just decided to finish the game. Less wine would probably make me hate this game less.

I wholeheartedly agree, Crispy, this achievement relies too much on luck to unlock. But still, we LC players need to unlock this achievement, regardless of the BS that goes on.

Oh yes, frustrated is an under-statement, after throwing myself down the stairs a couple of times and repeatedly head-butting the wall for 15 minutes (can't afford to break my controller) I finally got this pesky achievement. Good vid Crispy, used a couple of your other vids too for other LC cheevs.

This video was obviously a good luck charm. Up to the final difficult area, decide to watch this then waltzed through the last bit without a problem! So glad thats over...
