How to unlock the Super Zombie Hunter achievement in Lollipop Chainsaw - Definitive Guide

The score to beat is 127,600.

Remember that dying or restarting the checkpoint will cost you 5,000 points each time. There's a little tip for this level, especially useful if you are going to be attempting this achievement during your run through the level, as it's so easy to screw up;

Lollipop ChainsawNo Fear Of HeightsThe No Fear Of Heights achievement in Lollipop Chainsaw worth 37 pointsBeat the Gondola game without shooting.

During the level, you have to play different mini-games at regular intervals. One of the mini-games involves a 2D layout, with purple lifts/elevators. While playing this mini-game, there is a segment where you have to jump on the heads of 4 zombies. Press B to jump down but then skip the next button press so that you fall off of the zombie and to the ground.

Get up and do an Armadillo Spin on the zombies (done by pressing A,A,X after buying from a store). Try not to touch the Left Stick as it seems to increase your chances of getting a Sparkle Hunting 4, awarding you a total of 20 medals and 2 platinum medals. A lot of times, you'll get a Sparkle Hunting 3 and 13 medals with 1 platinum. Score won't change much, if at all.

Go back into the lift on the left and repeat the process. With this trick, you can farm for medals as well as rack up a huge score.

It isn't too bad but, I've put this up mainly for the people who are going to attempt No Fear Of Heights during their first run. As it is so easy to screw that up, you could lose a lot of your score depending on how long it'll take you.

I had the OP area glitch out after doing it for a while. Couldn't see anything but the prompts to use doors, elevators, and the QTEs. Was able to move on and used the spring box at the end that SwankyCriminal pointed out.

Thank whoever for the cowardly negative vote. At least have the decency to explain why you don't like the solution. I would be fine if I were to be given constructive criticism but, as it is, your cowardice and malice have been duly noted.

+1 from me as well. Perfect guide, as I kept failing on No Fear of Heights. I should have looked at a guide before. Silly me!

You guys make it sound easy. I'm struggling with this. I usually have to armadillo spin at least twice, so I'm considering doing holy chainsaw instead. My strength is 2/3 and I'm on hard.

Well I stopped at 60K, was 130K by the gondola, and 170K by the end of the level despite dying 4 times throughout.

I found out that if you diie on a level keep playing untill you get to the boss and after that quit out and load the checkpoint. it will keep all your stats but remove all the deaths :)

At neeke75, I am assuming you used the exploits, if not I would call shenanigans on your claim.

This is the one level I'm really struggling on (trying to do it quickly meant that I got a D for sparkle hunting) but this is a great tip!

This is the only stage I managed to beat Dad's score so far, and I did it without even trying in story mode, during my first run! I re-tried the stupid mini-game without shooting no less than 10+ times, died 6 times, screwed up on the 10 seconds achievements (thus I restarted from checkpoint), etc... and I still have 129,000+ points. I think this should be the easiest level to beat Dad's score on.

You can easily surpass the score of 127,600 by going to the second game. when your climbing the towers with the zombies. when your on floor 7 and the ground explodes, you can not push the button to jump on the zombies. try for a sparkle hunt and repeat.

Please refer to "n00b Zombie Hunter" for details.

If you're having trouble earning enough points in this stage, consider repeating the second grinding method in "Millionaire Hunter"; repeatedly killing the zombies instead of getting across the gap by jumping on them during the arcade elevator sequence.

Dad's Score to Beat (Stage 4):

  • Time: 00:26:32
  • Score: 127,600
  • Sparkle Hunting: 15
  • Zombie Medals: 583
  • Platinum Medals: 9

Bonus Requirements:

Stage 4-1

  • Sparkle Hunting - 3 Decaps
  • All Classmates Rescued
  • No Alert: Dokuroman
  • Speedy Finish: Dokuroman Game

Stage 4-2

  • All Classmates Rescued
  • No Mistakes: Nick Zombie Cheer
  • No Damage: Building Dungeon

Stage 4-3

  • Sparkle Hunting - 5 Decaps
  • Speedy Finish: Block Game
  • No Damage: Pole Room Battle
  • Climber Game: Nothing Broken (Yeah, good luck with it)

Stage 4-4 (Note: Only during boss battle)

  • Lucky Nick Not Used
  • Lollipop Not Used
  • Speedy Finish

Beat Dad's Score for Stage 4, and the trophy will unlock during the statistics screen at the end of the stage.
