There is only lava on the 4th trail in the DLC, so you'll have to complete the Explorer and 2nd Beginner challenges (21 or fewer crashes) on the first 3 trails in order to unlock it.
Once you have the trail unlocked, load it up and you can turn around from the very start and ride off the cliff into the lava pit below. You'll respawn at the top and just repeat 19 more times.
The achievement will unlock after you quit to the main menu or complete the stage.
