How to unlock the Nothing like a good days ride achievement in Lonely Mountains: Downhill - Definitive Guide

As with all the tracks, each mode has a varied set of challenges requiring you to use specific bikes, die few times, or beat a time record.

Daytime consists of these:

Explorer
Simply cross the finish line with any bike. Also the best mode to collect the resting sites.

Beginner
  1. 3:05 or less (Boar)
  2. 25 crashes or fewer (Any bike)
  3. 2:40 or less (Any Bike)
  4. 2:30 or less with 18 crashes or fewer (Trailblazer only)
You can knock 3 out at the same time using either bike, then do the one left by itself. I did the 3 with the trailblazer, but if you are better with boar you can try it instead.
My run with trailblazer shows the best route to easily beat the challenges.

Expert
This one requires three seperate runs at least.

  1. 14 Crashes or Fewer (Trailblazer)
  2. 2:10 or Less (Any Bike)
  3. 7 Crashes or Fewer (Grasshopper)
  4. 2:25 or less with 9 crashes or fewer (Pacebreaker)
These are pretty tough ones. I suggest rolling the 2:10 and the Pacebreaker together if you are confident with the bike, otherwise do the 2:10 by itself on a separate run with the Geronimo or another tough bike.

Javelin: (everyone's favorite bike) Stay on the trail as much as you can. The slightest drop will kill you.

Grasshopper: Sturdier than the javelin by a mile. Some shortcuts that were too dangerous before are good with this one.

Pacebreaker and less than 2:10. In my video for this one I don't take the last shortcut due to trying to stay alive, but if you feel you can hit it, it will cut your time even lower.

Freeride
Don't wreck.
Complete in under 2:40
Use any bike to complete this. I used Geronimo. You should have the track pretty much memorized by now, so just take it slow and safe. The time restraint isn't bad if you take just a few shortcuts without worrying about speed.
