Use 1000 of these cards to unlock the achievement.

Only 'land cards' count towards the achievement... if you look under "statistics" while you have retreated into camp, then you can gauge where you are in the pursuit of 1000... 'cards placed' shows more than just what you've placed so the count is higher there.
