This achievement can be done from the start by investing all 4 of your potions with the alchemist called 'Soap' stood right where you begin a run at the top of the north stairs.
Simply make it through the first area 'Sunken Village' and he'll be waiting at the bottom of the elevator gifting you 8 potions.
The service he offers is holding your potions for you between areas and then giving you double back, so risk reward.
You can combine this with the 'Fast Track' achievement, by simply speeding through and fighting no enemies so the lack of potions in this first area doesn't matter.
