How to unlock the High Fashion achievement in Loot River - Definitive Guide
In order to unlock the the ability to purchase armour you must meet Karla in 'The Divide'.
Accessing 'The Divide' requires having the 'Fake King' modifier active in run so that Gantley the Usurper spawns in the Sunken Village for you to kill. For me he was right below where the elevator normally spawns. Parrying is really good for this boss fight as you are all alone with him. After killing him, the doorway he is guarding will be open on the upper right wall in this boss fight arena, it's easy to miss.
This doorway leads to 'The Divide' area, in which Karla can be found right there a few steps away once you spawn in.
On a side note about this area
The total cost to buy all armour is 500 Knowledge
If you would like a list of the names:
For all these type of achievements I just kept running back to back escape attempts. If you do the real escape with the 5 keys as I talk about in that guide, you now get a lot more knowledge with the new update.

Depending how many weapons you have unlocked this might be quicker with a new save.
You need to play through the game and unlock only the minimum number of weapons to increase your chance of getting the Flayer of Memories. This is reached by first unlocking Panopticon, Bloodstained Tool, Noble's Rapier, Amateur's Shortsword, and finally Flayer of Memories. You need 240 Knowledge so keep playing and investing the points you get.
Once you unlock the sword you can pick it up and equip it. If you unlocked it in a previous run you can either play through the game hoping to find it, or if you have the Random Weapon modifier you can assign it then keep restarting the run until you get the weapon.
With this weapon, every time you kill an enemy with a charged strong attack it will drop Knowledge, and you can easily get 400+ from just the first area. I recommend setting yourself on the edge of a block close to the enemy but with a safe gap, charging up and using the right stick to move the block next to the enemy where you can release the attack.
Once you're back in the Sanctuary you can spend the points, but as mentioned above you should save the weapons for last, especially if you don't have the Random Weapon modifier.
Lastly, you can set the game to easy to survive longer, and it might be wise to play it a bit safe until the first level up. Then you can increase your HP a lot with the first upgrade.
To buy armour you need Karla, who you can find in The Divide. To enter The Divide you need to do a run with the Fake King modifier active, which will make Gantley appear at the end of the Sunken Village, near the exit. When you beat him, a doorway will appear to the right of the elevator that you would normally take. Go through the doorway and Karla will be very close to where you start. You need 460 Knowledge for all the armour.
