How to unlock the Don't burn yourself out achievement in Lords of the Fallen (2014) - Definitive Guide
The Keeper is a one-trick pony, and once you know how, can be defeated relatively easily.
Start hacking away at the swirl of bricks (or are the tomes?), until the yellow bar is down into the final segment, but not further or the Keeper will one-shot you. He should now start the routine of 'repleneshing the swirl' by extracting more bricks from the shelves that popped up.
At this point, you need to position yourself between the shelves and the Keeper, and stop the bricks, preferably by blocking with a (tower) shield. You don't need to block all bricks, just most of them. Then quickly run behind the shelf for cover. The Keeper will fire his spell, but you'll be safe. It's so safe you can gulp a potion to heal yourself if you need to.
Repeat this two times, until he's down to 25% of his health. Now, he'll attack you outright, but for a end-game boss he is laughably easy and should pose no challenge. Slay him and voilá! Achievement unlocked!

Thanks to your guide i could defeat him. Im a bit dissapointed with the dlc 8€ for nearly 1-2h is a bit to much.

Is it possible to explore afterwards? I still need to plunder 1 resting place and I can't find it in this maze :(

Hey guys, I found this fight to be pretty easy once you know how the fight actually works. Should be noted that I did the fight on New Game ++
The Keeper has 4 segments of health you need to take down in order to kill it. To even start to do actual damage you must first take down its stamina meter (yellowish orange bar under the health bars) DO NOT TAKE THEM DOWN FULLY OR YOU WILL BE ONE SHOT KILLED BY A MAGIC EXPLOSION. Instead what you need to do is get the meter down to almost nothing then the boss will panic and begin looking around, which is where you take the opportunity to run behind the wall he errects and stand close to it (continuously sucks your health so keep potions at the ready) He uses the wall to suck pieces off of it for some reason which raises his stamina back up fully if you do not stand behind it as previously mentioned. Every time you do this he will explode for some reason and lose an entire health segment( only has FOUR). Do not exit from behind the wall until it lowers on its own, then simply repeat the process till you remove THREE health segments and when hes on his last health bar you can just run up to him and smash his face in like a traditional boss. DONE!
For visual aid heres a video I made of how I killed him on New Game++

By far, the best possible solution for this. I guess standing right behind the case glitches out the Keepers reshielding. Gotta love this exploits! Thank you!

doesn't work for me this, it takes my health and stops his regen up to about a quarter but doesn't take any of his actual health. Ready to give up on this boss, it's fucking stupid. I only have 9 health potions too, on the first NG cycle and have only died once this entire playthrough up to this and i can't even get him past his first quarter of health.
