Lords of the Fallen (2014)

Shortly after fighting the First Warden you will exit into an outside area. As you approach a large gate a man inside will whisper to you to free him by opening the gate. You pretty much have to do this to progress anyways. Defeat a single enemy on the ledges on either side of the gate and use the switches on both sides. Once both switches are used, the gate will open and you can go talk to the old man you just saved. He's complaining that a spider bit him and the poison is already coursing through him. You're given the option to leave him be or play doctor by cutting his arm off. Do it, you know you want to. Afterwards I felt bad and gave him a potion, but you don't have to do that, either.
