How to unlock the Fallen achievement in Lords of the Fallen - Definitive Guide
**Missable**
You can only fight Adyr if you are going for the Radiance Ending. This is really the basic ending – it’s the one that most players will get in Lords of the Fallen first time round. It means cleansing all of the beacons – those pillars of red light that shoot up into the sky. There are five of these beacons: Forsaken Fen, Fief of the Chill Curse, Tower of Penance, The Empyrean, and upper Upper Calrath.
This fight is actually one of the easier bosses in the game. Adyr is a god, and he likes to talk to you while floating around at the back of the boss arena. The room is filled with Adyr’s zombie-like followers, and his magic possesses them. All you need to do is kill the followers, one by one, as the magic possesses each of them in turn. You kill one, and it passes to another follower. Some are protected by Umbral Parasites, so you need to use the lamp to burn them away first. Other things to watch out for are the fireballs that fly your way, which are easy to dodge but which do lots of damage when they land. And also bear in mind that Adyr’s followers blow up when they die, and that also damages you.
As you kill the followers, you will see Adyr’s health running down. You just need to keep doing this until he’s dead. Oh, but there is a time limit, of around five minutes. You can’t let him finish his speech, basically. If he does, then he sends out an instant death pulse, blasting the entire arena. Once you have defeated him, you will achieve the Radiant Ending, and this trophy will unlock.
