You can complete this just after finishing Chapter 4.
You go to Robere to learn more about Hellhounds and he says he has a book about them that he's lost that you can read. A Golden circle appears on the map and you have to find the book within that circle to unlock the achievement (its incredibly easy to find, will take you all of 5 seconds.
I think this might be missable so make sure you progress the quest and find the book before you move on to Chapter 5.
