How to unlock the Card Collector achievement in Lost in Random - Definitive Guide
Not that this is a particularly difficult achievement or game but if you want to you could grind this out.
At the end of Two Town BEFORE opening the door to Threedom, if you buy a card from Mannie Dex it will save the game. You can then leave to the main menu and re enter your game, you’ll be able to go all over Two Town breaking the jars again (260 coins a time) and as long as you buy one card before leaving the game you’ll be able to do this infinitely. This will net you all the cards before later boss battles.

Good solution. I would recommend doing this in Fourburg though. I was finding double or more than what I was in Two Town. I seemed to keep finding a new jar to break each run, so, there is room to really grind here. And it is basically a giant circle so you start in one area and loop around.

I agree. Fourburg is awesome for this achievement. One run I started with 40 coins and ended it with 600 in a few minutes.
And his stuff randomizes with each area I think if you haven't unlocked all his card packs. Not 100% sure though...

I'm going to add a guide for this because I was looking for one for my own playthrough of the game.
This achievement sounds simple enough and to some extent it is but with two playthroughs needed to unlock it for myself it can be a pain.
Some steps/tips to follow when trying to unlock this are:
1. Take your time. Look EVERYWHERE for jars/pots to shoot. They only give 10 coins but there are a good few of them and after 12 or so, that'll be another card to buy.
2. Similarly, look everywhere for the dice doors. These give 50 coins, and when paired with the 10 coins from the jars, you can rack up a lot of coins quite quickly.
(I missed quite a few of these in Threedom and beyond.)
3. Before leaving any town to continue the story, make sure you have completed ALL the side quests, sometimes these give coins as a reward and that will be really helpful.
(One bugged on me in Two-Town on my 1st playthrough so I lost 110 coins.)
This is everything I did on my 2nd playthrough and about halfway through Sixtopia after rescuing a familiar face I got it at the next Mannie Dex store. So I had plenty of room to spare.
So, with all of these in mind. If you're playing cautiously and being observant, you should get it no problem.
But
If you're like me,
And missed stuff and aren't really sure where or what you missed. Then this guide is for you!

This achievement is missable..
There's no need to farm this achievement, but by all means do that if you don't mind it.
This achievement wants you to buy manny out of stock, at first I thought it was just cards I haven't had.
Collect all breakable jars and dicey holes, do all side quests and you should be fine. I ended up with almost 3k coins bfor I had to refight nanny fortuna over in sixtopia.
Make sure to save and close your game rather than leaving it for quick play as when you close the game the breakable pots respawn.

Missable.
Mannie Dex will first be found in Two-Town and will appear throughout the game, all the way up to when you reach the Queen's Palace at the very end. He's very hard to miss and will be a large, talking wardrobe of sorts. When you first talk to him, you'll be given a Card Binder to keep your cards in. After that (and a short tutorial on how to use the Binder), you'll be able to start purchasing Cards from him. The Cards are purchased with coins that you collect from breaking pots, looting dice doors, and general rewards from combat. For this achievement, you'll need to buy Mannie out. Buying one of each Card won't work, you'll need to buy his entire stock. This will require a lot of coins. There are enough pots/doors in the game to cover you, but that means you'll need to search every nook and cranny for them and if you're short by the time you reach the Palace, you'll need to start a new game to get this. Luckily, you can grind them out. When you exit to the main menu and load back in, the Pots will reload back into the game (not always in the same place or the same amount, but close enough to it). For this reason, you can grind this out just about anywhere, but Fourburg will be your best shot by far. You may have noticed while playing through the game that there are a heck of a lot of Pots in this section, way more than any other section by far. Use this section to reload/recollect coins from Pots. You don't need to go crazy with it, 2 or 3 runs should be just fine.
When Mannie stops giving out card packs, then he'll have all the stock he can acquire and you can start working on buying him out. The last place you'll run into Mannie will be inside the Queen's Palace, at the bottom of the staircase. Please note, however, that when you enter the Palace, you'll hit a point of no return. Mannie will also be just outside of the Palace in a more open area. If you're still short, grind out the Pots before going into the Palace. The reloading is very unforgiving once you're inside. As soon as you've purchased the last available card, the achievement will unlock.
If you're checking your stats on the main menu after you've completed the game, you should have 73/66 Mannie Cards.

All pots respawn after exiting and leaving the game. You can exploit this in Two Town while saving with Dex. There's a nice little circle You can run around that'll lead You right back to Dex. Save with Dex, back out of the game, then follow this path. Once You spawn in, there will be a pot above Your head. Turn around and walk down the alley about 20 steps to find another pot above You. Keep following that path till You see a wooden fence. There will be 3 pots beyond that fence area. Turn around after getting the 3 pots and go down the left alley. You'll see another pot on a bunch of boxes on the left and a pot on a roof to the right of that pot. Run down the left alley and You'll see another pot next to a lamp post. Follow this road till You see Dex and You'll find Your last pot. Save with Dex and back out of the game to repeat this path. You'll get 90 gold with each run, just about enough for 1 card.
You need to buy all cards from the card's vendor.
He has 12 sets of cards.
You will need to farm coins.
Shoot pots, you can quit to the main menu and get back in the game - all pots will reappear.
I got all cards at the chapter 5.
