How to unlock the Bern, Baby, Bern achievement in Lost in Random - Definitive Guide
Done in Fivetropolis
All locations are marked on the map, Bernie also will start yelling when you're close, and you'll see the green marks if looking in the direction even through walls
Interaction #1 (Before Gluer)
-Uh… right, to sunshine?
-Let’s go forward to the clanking.
-Sabotage the robots, kid.
-Go forwards, Bernie!
-I'm losing you
-This is a bad idea
#2 and #3 choice won't matter

To help Bernie you need to give him directions via 3 walkie talkies hidden throughout Fivetropolis. This is a highly missable achievement as the walkie talkies are fairly hidden
Here’s a video from ‘onslaught o’ showing you all the locations as well as the dialogue you need to tell Bernie:

So am I to believe that I can't go back down to the gluer area after going up the ladder that breaks. Really glad that the walkthrough nor this guide doesn't specify that you can't backtrack in fivetroplis when you've been able to backtrack in every city up to here. Also glad the walkthrough didnt actually say to end the first convo with Bernie and now might have to redo the whole frickin game over 1 dialogue option. Useless

Missable.
This is a sidequest that you will do in Fivetropolis. On 3 separate occassions, you'll need to speak to Bernie through some pipes. There are more than 3 pipes in the area, so just keep an eye out for the green "?" when you're close by to one. You'll also hear Bernie slightly screaming for help if you get close enough. Bless his heart. Additionally, they will also be marked on the map.
The only dialogue options that really matter for this are on during your first interaction with him. You want to steer him in the safest direction based on what he's telling you. These are the dialogue options to chose:

This is a side quest in Fivetropolis that requires interacting with Bernie via a speaker system at three specific points through the disjointed city. Since you will be encountering a lot of no-turning-back points throughout that map, it will be helpful to note exactly where the locations for this quest are.
1) The first one will be just after you get through Cogwheel Paths and enter The Holy Gluery. At the end of the Cogwheel Paths, there will be three giant cogs with switches that you need to hit to stop them and be able to walk through. Once you're past the last cog and officially enter The Holy Gluery, you should hear Bernie shouting at you and can turn right to see the green quest marker against the wall. Interact with Bernie, and after a bit of initial dialogue, you will need to successfully guide him with the following specific dialogue choices:
- Uh… right, to sunshine?
- Let’s go forward to the clanking.
- Sabotage the robots, kid.
- Go forwards, Bernie!
- I'm losing you
- This is a bad idea
*Climbing the really long ladder at the end of The View is a no-turning-back point, so make sure you've done the first part of Bernie's quest before this.*
2) Continue following the storyline quest until you reach a busy area called Mystic's Quarter. Head to the right where you should see two green markers, and as you near the second one you should hear Bernie shouting again. He's in a little alcove to the right, and this time your dialogue choices don't matter so just pick whatever.
3) Again continue along exploring this area until you reach St. Alchemist Street. At the top of a bunch of twisting wooden paths will be a signpost and an NPC you can talk to (Good ol' Jackie), and just to the right of him is a short path to the final green marker interaction point with Bernie. Dialogue here is irrelevant as well, so pick whatever and get through it and afterwards you'll get a card reward and your achievement.
Your final no-turning-back point here is fairly obvious, after talking to the Alchemist and another Shadow Queen fight, when you get to another one of those "train station" platforms.
