Lost Judgment

Dice & Cube becomes available to play at Paradise VR (Yokohama) after the Side Case ‘Paradise VR unlocked!’ in Chapter 3.

There are six stages to clear, win one to unlock the next:

• Short (standard) - 3 play passes
• Middle (standard) - 5 play passes
• Long (standard) - 10 play passes
• Short (challenge) - 3 play passes
• Middle (challenge) - 5 play passes
• Long (challenge) - 10 play passes

To win a course you just need to get to the final space before your opponent. I chose not to battle the special opponents. Save before each attempt if you’re using standard play passes or you’ll waste them.

You’re going to need at least 36 play passes, or the free play pass voucher.

Farming play passes

You can get play passes from certain activities, but it’s a grind. It’s quicker to farm them:

• go to restaurants until you find one that’s offering a treasure + bonus (the green Yen symbol)
• If you get the skill ‘Auspicious Gourmet’ (unlocked during Chapter 5 side story ‘Squirrels Just Wanna Have Fun’, and 20,000 SP), then you can tell which restaurants give which bonuses on your map
• order all the bonus dishes and it’ll give you more items. Some of these will be play passes.
• getting the special skill ‘Bottomless Stomach’ lets you order food at full health. It costs 40,000 SP. First you’ll need to get the Skill Book from Odonera’s Wares for 50,000 SP. That’s a lot of SP, but it’s worth it.
• eat the bonus dishes and run around like mad looking for items
• I often do a loop around the triangle made by Sesil Cafe (by Paradise VR), Meng Wu and Hamakita (both Chinatown) looking for the treasure bonus. Chinatown is a good spot for item drops.
• if you call Detective Dog, you’ll get two items per drop but your speed will be limited. I’m not sure it’s worth the trade off, but it's always nice to see Ranpo.

Free play pass voucher

This voucher gives you unlimited Dice & Cube plays. You’ll need to find six parts:

1. Skateboard Point Exchange (25,000 points)
2. Squirrel Search Set 32 (Café Alps)
3. Casino Chip Exchange (10,000 chips and must have started Casino School Story)
4. Complete Side Case ‘Where the Kappa Roam’ (Chapter 4)
5. Max out the bond with the white cat at the Ijincho Homeless Camp
6. Gambling Hall Point Exchange (10,000 points)
