Lost Judgment

Complete the storyline of two of the four possible girlfriends:

• Minato Todo (DLC) - unlocks Chapter 3
• Emily S. Mochizuki (base game) - unlocks and can complete in Chapter 4
• Tsukino Saotome (DLC) - unlocks (I think) and can complete in Chapter 9
• Kyoko Hakase (DLC) - unlocks Chapter 9, can’t complete until Chapter 12

Minato Todo (DLC)

Todo's side case ‘Why I Don the Costume’ unlocks in Chapter 3 when you get access to Buzz Researcher. Search for the ‘mascot’ keyword.

After clearing that case Todo will be at M Side Café. Raise her intimacy level through talking, giving her energy drinks and playing darts/batting centre.

Her first Side Case is pretty straightforward. Don’t read her notebook for a boost.

At intimacy level 3, you’ll get a call once it’s night in Kamurocho. That’ll start the next side case ‘Kamuro Night Live’.

Here are the best responses for the comedy act:
1. Hold up

4. "God, I'm broke!"
5. Hold Down
6. Hold Up
7. "What year is this!?"

Todo’s last side case unlocks at intimacy level 4. At the end she’ll confess her love to you. The achievement will pop when the side case completes.

Emily S. Mochizuki

Emily unlocks as a girlfriend option once you’ve completed the Girls’ Bar School Story. That unlocks in Chapter 4 once you get the detector. You also need your appeal level to be level 4 (Dance Club is good for this).

Completing the Girls’ Bar is a bit of a grind. You’ll need a bit of money to keep paying the ¥2,000 entrance fee and drinks (you’ll get plenty more back through the mission rewards). It’s worth buying these skills:

• Barfly/boozehound/borderline alcoholic under ‘special’, to raise your alcohol limit
• EX Drunken Fist under ‘abilities’. It’s a quick way to sober up.

Once you’ve cleared Girls’ Bar, Emily will be available to talk to over by the dart board. To get her out on a date, ask to know whenever she’s in. Once Emily texts you, use food as an excuse. You’ll then be able to start her first date/side case.

Between dates keep raising your intimacy level by talking, playing darts/batting centre or giving her jewellery.
After two dates, Emily will call (as long as it’s night time) and ask you to meet her. The achievement will pop once you complete the ‘We Mend, We Grow’ case. I’m not sure if your response matters but I chose ‘yes’.

Tsukino Saotome (DLC)

1. Make sure you’ve done Side Case 43 ‘Why I Don the Costume’, part of Minato Todo’s storyline above
2. That should unlock Side Case 51 ‘The Filthy Four’ at the Yagami Detective Agency (it’s called ‘Let’s Talk about Perverts’ there).
3. Tsukino will then be in Pocket Cafe during the day. The earliest I found her there was during Chapter 9.
4. Then when it’s daytime (Chapter 9) you can find her in Pocket Cafe
5. Get busy raising her intimacy - I gave her loads of jewellery I was carrying around
6. You can often just leave the cafe and immediately go back in to continue Tsukino’s storyline
7. Eventually you’ll start Side Case 52 ‘As Changes the Day, So Does the Mind’, a simple photography mission
8. After that go to the cafe for a date conversation, then raise intimacy again through talking, gifts and dates
9. Eventually you’ll start Side Case 53 ‘Making the Best Choice’, another simple photography mission
10. Now it’s back to intimacy building. When you get to Level 3, you’ll need to wait until night time.
11. Tsukino will call you and invite you to the cafe - that’s her cue to confess to you (Side case 54 ‘Standing Proud Together’.

Kyoko Hakase

1. Complete Side Case 47 "Somebody's Watching You", triggered in Yokohama (Hyakkei St.). Hakase-san will then invite you to the school nurse’s office (on 1F)
2. Although you can see her in the office, she won’t be available until Chapter 9 during the day
3. After that initial meeting she disappears again until night.
4. Go back and get her intimacy up to level 2. I plied her with energy drinks (must be all that night working), but you can chat and take her out as well.
5. Leave the School completely, then enter it again. Go back to Hakase’s office and you should be able to start the side case 48 ‘Melody of the Night’. I yelled to get her attention.
6. I blundered my way through this conversation pretty randomly, think it’s safe to do so.
7. Walk Hakase home, agree to let her treat you. That ends the side case.
8. Head back to her office. It’s time to get intimacy up to level 3. You can now also get treatment from Hakase if you want.
9. Now you need to wait until daytime - the next opportunity is early in Chapter 10
10. Head back to the school and go to the blue folder icon in the courtyard to start Side case 49 ‘Just a slight feeling’
11. Chat time again - after that, you’ll need to wait until night time. Again. This happens a bit later in Chapter 10.
12. Go and pick Kyoko up from her office. I don’t think the inputs matter but I yelled at her and put a hand on her shoulder.
13. The rest of the story is pretty basic. Once that’s done…
14. Raise intimacy to level 4. I did this straight away. Then…you guessed it…wait until daytime.
15. I found Kyoko early in chapter 12, in the cafeteria. That starts her final Side Case ‘The Dream Continues’. Then…yep…wait until night.
16. Next time I was at the school (I went via taxi) Kyoko calls. Choose to meet her there and play through the scene. She’ll ask you out.
